This season is finished as Halifax will wind it up tomorrow night. Regroup for next season and look for some size up front. We are not a third place team and I doubt we would have gone beyond the first round against either PEI or Bathurst, let alone Halifax.................

Fans are just being realistic No, it's not over but tonight's performance certainly doesn't give us Cats fans much hope. But stranger things have happened. Actually, I do believe there is a fan bus going to Halifax Friday night. There is supposed to be one anyways, but maybe the bus trip organizers have thrown in the towel too. I actually heard that they pulled the plug on the trip during the 2nd intermission last night. Maybe it was because they didn't have enough people, but I heard quote "if the boys aren't going to show up, then neither are we" but that's just what I heard as I was walking by. Well I can't really blame anyone for not wanting to sign up after last night, but if they did have enough people and just decided not go anyways...wow. I really hope the players don't have the same piss poor attitude that most Cats fans have right now or it's going to be a very ugly game Friday night. Obviously it's not looking very good right now, but stranger things have happened...so why not? ;D

I realized something last night - if I worked for the Cats I'd be fired after 5 minutes due to uncontrollable laughter at the schtick that gets thought up. Why Not? After last night's display, Why Bother? For some reason the Cats office believe they need a "theme" to sell the product. I would love to know who does come up with these things though... I swear my 2 year old could come up with better. Anybody else also getting flashbacks to the Larue era? Some of Torchetti's comments in the paper freak me out, in specific when he took the blame for the guys not being prepared... we're back to having a team that is ill prepared to play. Yeah so I was just wondering, if I'm visibly laughing out loud at the video's they put together last night does that mean they did a poor job? Or was it supposed to be a comedy? Absolutely unbelievable some of the things they come up with. The whole evening at the game was just one big joke. The game, the "promotions", and those stellar videos. Very very sad.

Plenty of distractions………… WC staff with hard hats/white t-shirts parading around with the slogan why not, heard the team themselves issued work boots to wear. This whole thing looked quite silly, these young players are not into and don’t understand this first year MBA marketing scheme horse shit. What’s next, mission statement plastered on their jerseys? It looked quite silly last night in my view, Halifax fans musta got some laugh outa that , I know I did. This type of shit doesn’t work guys, let these kids play the game and cut the distractions. I thought it was rather silly. Seeing on the screen construction workers and firefighters and then showing some clown saying "if you wanna work, you gotta work hard .. go Cats go" The things management comes up with sometimes.. Didn t you know those construction worker video you saw was a summer job advertisement for the Wildcat players? ;D

It's been a disapointing playoff which is why people are jumping off the banwagon. It is disappointing. But really, we weren't expecting to go to the league finals or anything. I'm a little disappointed with the way people are just writing the team off. Yes, we are down 3-2 in the series. Yes, we don't seem to play well in Halifax. Yes, it's very possible Halifax will end it tomorrow night. But NO, it's not over yet. Anything can happen. Although the odds are against us.

Honestly, I expected you guy's to go thru halifax easily....then maybe winning round 2. The play right now is very dissapointing.

All they have to do is play their game that they played almost all year ... where did that agressive forecheck and high energy cycling of the puck go ? They need a solid outing from Sniderman ... nothing spectacular ... just solid. And they need to come at the Moose like they want to win ... instead of playing the game like they are trying not to lose. The series is 3-2 ... not 3-0 .. one win on the road ... and we have been a good road team all year ... one win on the road and we are right back in it with momentum for Game 7. They have to show up like they want to win ... if they can't bring that attitude then its over. I could care less about our anemic PP and poor PK. We have had weak numbers on special teams all year and we still won games ... we just didn't let special teams beat us. Now we are because we aren't beating Halifax at 5 on 5. Its a simple formula ... harder to execute.

Maybe winning round 2? We would be playing Cape Breton in round 2 and there is no way we would win that round. Oh but I forgot, you're always wrong!

Its a simple formula ... harder to execute. It's not so much the bad PP that's killing us, but the bad PK. We're allowing at least 2 PPG a game and that has to stop. Either our PK has to improve or we have to stop taking penalties. For us to win tomorrow night we have to (1) be better on the PK .. all the PPG's are killing us right now. (2) #61 has to get going. If he is indeed playing hurt, I would rather them sit him out and get Watson in. If Marquardt's not playing his game, he might as well not even be out there. (3) They need to come out right of the bat and get the lead early. Get on top of Yetman early and also get the crowd out of it. (4) THROW THE PUCK ON NET .. you never know what can happen!

Bad pp bad pk and no answer for Vorachek...not a great winning formula.
One win and the series changes but last nights game was not a great way to build momentum.
