Geeze.... some of you sure know how to abandon a team... feel free to approach your team and see if they'll forfeit the series as it seems decided that they are done Sounds like the Metro Centre won't have any Moncton fans at the next game to pick on. Fans are just being realistic No, it's not over but tonight's performance certainly doesn't give us Cats fans much hope. But stranger things have happened. Actually, I do believe there is a fan bus going to Halifax Friday night. There is supposed to be one anyways, but maybe the bus trip organizers have thrown in the towel too.

Well I am injoying the moment as last season we were in your spot just one more game to play and not much hope ..But you did have that power packed team that all the coaches went to NHL... 5-0 was a really good win for us.. We were excellent last night at staying in the game for 60 minutes and Friday we will have to do the same in front of our fans in Mooseland (No Kitties there) Just hope that your fans will not act up in Section #1 again tonight if they do the ushers will have them on the bus quickly!!!!!!

I hope you all don't get hurt jumping off the banwaggon ;D This has nothing to do with jumping off the banwaggon. This team showed no respect for the coaches, themselves, the fans the game of hockey for the way they played last night. This performance was the the worst I seen in a long time. A 20 per cent effort is not going to cut it. Goatending is brutal. Riopel has no confidence at all and that goes for sniderman also. So Fridays game will be the last game but all in all its been a good season until this game. Marquart your worthless!!!!

After that dismal showing last night, I decided to leave the country. The only floaters I'll be looking at will be wearing bikinis and not hockey equipment like last night. Dos Cervezas por favor.

I actually heard that they pulled the plug on the trip during the 2nd intermission last night. Maybe it was because they didn't have enough people, but I heard quote "if the boys aren't going to show up, then neither are we" but that's just what I heard as I was walking by.

Plenty of distractions………… WC staff with hard hats/white t-shirts parading around with the slogan why not, heard the team themselves issued work boots to wear. This whole thing looked quite silly, these young players are not into and don’t understand this first year MBA marketing scheme horse shit. What’s next, mission statement plastered on their jerseys? It looked quite silly last night in my view, Halifax fans musta got some laugh outa that , I know I did. This type of shit doesn’t work guys, let these kids play the game and cut the distractions.

I don't buy that, why would it be a distraction last night and not in game 1 and 3?

I thought it was rather silly. Seeing on the screen construction workers and firefighters and then showing some clown saying "if you wanna work, you gotta work hard .. go Cats go" The things management comes up with sometimes..

Maybe thats why the guy hit the crossbar on his breakaway... "here I go, aiming for that top corner.... wait, is that the village people on the concourse?" DING off the crossbar.

I realized something last night - if I worked for the Cats I'd be fired after 5 minutes due to uncontrollable laughter at the schtick that gets thought up.
Why Not? After last night's display, Why Bother?
For some reason the Cats office believe they need a "theme" to sell the product. I would love to know who does come up with these things though... I swear my 2 year old could come up with better.
Anybody else also getting flashbacks to the Larue era? Some of Torchetti's comments in the paper freak me out, in specific when he took the blame for the guys not being prepared... we're back to having a team that is ill prepared to play.

I think that after 70+ games Torchetti should take most of the blame for the playoff letdown.
You can only blame the players for so long early in the year.
I still can't understand why he changed the lines around late in the season, when he should have been preparing each line for the playoffs.
If my memory serves me well, sometimes it does, There was quite a few line combinations down the stretch.
About the same time as the slide began.

I think a lot of the kids are running on fumes, mostly the guys coming up from MAAA, they are used to 40 game season and are now up to 75-76 games and a 7 month season. I don't think you can blame Torchetti too much, this team has outworked teams all year but at some point it catches up to you.
