They both can be better ... we have seen better from them on many occasions. But if I had to hope for one of them to raise his game to what we expected I'd bet on Sniderman. Riopel has outplayed Sniderman all year ? ... what an exageration. Sniderman was a major reason why Moncton had to make a tough decision at the trade deadline on what to do. Its amazing that you turn on him so quickly and forget what he has done all year. We'll lose this series if we go with Riopel ... we'll have a chance to win if we go with Sniderman. Why do you expect Sniderman to raise his game and not Rio? Go look at the stats, Rio is 0.42 better in GAA(nearly half a goal a game) and .013 better in save% through the season. That would suggest that if Rio "raises his game" he will play at a higher level than Sniderman. Above all else, the PK and defensive zone coverage have to give either guy a chance, they have left far too many players wide open this series. Who said I didn't expect Riopel could raise his game ? I clearly said I know they both can play better. But if I had to bet on one to do it when we really needed it I'd go with the veteran who has proven he can raise his game in big games. That might be a bad decision ... Sniderman could still stink it up. But I'd rather lose with Sniderman stinking it up than with Riopel stinking it up ... at least we went with the veteran and there is no second guessing ... with the rookie you will always be second guessing. Neither guy has played great ... but at least Sniderman stole a win on Sunday ... we didn't deserve a win in that game the way the rest of the team played.

Oh,my apoligies for calling it like it is. So,what's your opinion on the slashes? Did you get a chance to watch that game yet? Even if I was a diehard fan I still wouldn't have a problem admitting that 3 consecutive hard slashes to the foot is greasy....just because a Cats player comitted the infraction doesn't make it any better. hey if he had a problem with the slashes maybe he should have dropped the gloves.....Then you would have enjoyed that But if Pridham would've dropped the gloves A.Mac would've turtled and Halifax would be shorthanded for 7 minutes..... Besides he looked like he was in too much pain to worry about fighting

He looked average, he got beat by a bad angle goal in the 3rd. If it was easier for Sniderman to step up his game(because he is a veteran) why is that he's played worse in the 2nd half than in the 1st? The Cats are a rebuilding team, all things being equal you play the kids...that's why Barberio has played top 4 instead of Emanuele.

The 20 guys dressed are the 20 best(minus Ouskun injured)...but he is mixing in the kids with veterans...at times the Camerons and Labelles Riopels Lessards have been better than the vets, so it's not clear cut either way. All things being equal you play the younger player.

Looks like the hardest working team in the Q forgot to show up... brutal brutal brutal display.
Good thing the Cats office doesn't offer a money back guarantee, they'd be broke.
Found it ironic that they had a video made up to the Doug and the Slugs song "Making it Work".
Ah well, no need to extend the suffering, time to put this season to sleep.

Lazy, booring, lifeless, lethargic, slothfull, uninspired, disorganized, crappy, dishonourable, %7^$#8(&$
-This game had ZERO effort from any CAT! -3 Stars all MOUSE players! -The Cat net gets run and it looked like a Cat actually helped the Mousehead player get up, and then the STUPID Cat appologized for all the rough play that the Cats had presented to the Mouse durring the 06-07 season! (the appology part I made up) -NO EFFORT! even if by some crazy , insane, miracle this series would go 7, I will NOT buy a ticket to go see them! This was the worse STINKER of a game I have seen since the MOncton Alpines of the AHL days!
-Now don't crap on me for being a wagon jumper, THIS team showed no respect to the Cats or to the fans. -Torch did diddly from my perspective! No time out, no emotion shown on the bench . (any one else see what was going on on the bench? Maybe Forest Gump behing the Cat's bench could shed some light on why the Cats are so lifeless??? -Will the TORCH be back in 08?

Bahahahahahahahah !!! ;D I guess this means the team gave up...Pretty disapointing when your 4th place team gets beat out by the 14th place team, especially when your goalies are soooo much better than theirs Like I said before, you can still come up and watch the Titan after your short playoff season is finished with

Turning point of the game was in the first period when the Cats couldn't score on the full 5-on-3 and then the penalty that was served right after it.
This series will be over Friday night.

There is 2.5 hours of my life I can't get back, a brutal display by everyone. The year was better than anyone of us could have hoped for given the circumstances. That said nothing about this team excites me, we have a good core of players from which to build from but that's it, no superstars in waiting, no heavyweight fighting champions in training. We screwed up the Euro situation this year and it remains to be seen if we can rectify that situation, we only had three players who scored over 20 goals and the goal tending situation wasn't great. I still can't believe we did as well as we did . I'm tired of this working hard theme they are pushing as they did last year because it's a smoke screen to hide the fact that we can't compete talent wise and the best they can hope for is to grind their opponents down.
Maybe I'm all hockeyed out after the University Cup and last years Memorial Cup and it's just a form of National Championship letdown but I used to be excited about coming to a Wildcat game but now it's becoming a chore. Maybe an early exit will do the world of good for everyone, fans and players alike and we can start the new season afresh, then again maybe not.

This should be a comfort to you.....as according to you, Riopel IS your starter right now and has been since about the 1st of February, and will definately be the number one guy next year........good luck with that....enjoy your season......

Geeze.... some of you sure know how to abandon a team... feel free to approach your team and see if they'll forfeit the series as it seems decided that they are done Sounds like the Metro Centre won't have any Moncton fans at the next game to pick on.

No one is abandoning the team but they just aren't playing well and haven't been for the last little while which doesn't bode well for them right now. I would love them to come back and take this series, anything can happen, but let's take a healthy dose of reality here. Unless they can elevate their play they don't stand a chance, the team looked uninspired and tired, they were just going through the motions out there except for a few brief moments during the third. The team overachieved early in the year with some impact players, once they were dealt the team slowly adjusted itself to where it probably should have been all along for a team with 13 rookies. Nothing to be ashamed of except the effort shown tonight, there was no excuse for that.
