The score reminds me a bit of bowling too......... ;D.......Looked like a real goaltenders duel in Moncton tonight.......... ;D ;D You would have thought Gougeon was in goal for both teams But all three goalies who played tonight were full of confidence Who is Gougeon?........Bathurst has a Miller and a Tardif right now....doing veyr well......6-2 in their last 8 games.......not bad, IMO.......but that's just my opinion....according to Steve, that's probably wrong....... ;D

It was nice to see Voroshilov finally get the monkey off his back. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. Huge games for Marquardt and Samson.
Sniderman seems to be an absolute monster during shootout. Looking back to the game against Baie-Comeau and last night's game, he has only allowed one goal on 18 shots. STELLAR!

Even though this game was not a clinic on defense it was probably one of the most entertaining reg season game in quite awhile. Really impressed with how the guys don't seem to quit. Same thing in B-C. Decent scrap both landed solid punches but I am gonna have to give it to Herr as I think Manson's nose was broke. (at least thats what I thought I saw him say on the way to the box.) All in all good two points for the Cats. Stupid stat but we have been the cause of over 30% of lewistons's GA so far this season. ;D

Yes a great game from Samson and Marquardt. I just like to start seeing Gaudet put up a little more offence. Tim Spencer has 3 goal 5 assist and Gaudet 3 goal 6 assist. Tim would be a great leader on this team as is Gaudet but Tim bring that toughness that we were needing. Time for Gaudet to step it up a bit . 8 goal in regulation and Gaudet does not get a point.... Something wrong with this picture.

Webcasts in general are garbage- every time I try to log onto one there's something wrong with it. How is your team's webcast quality ?

Manson had the towel on his face for his stint in the penalty box but it continued to bleed ... he even took of his sweater in the box because he was bleeding so bad. He then got up and went to the dressing room ... 2nd period ... and never returned. TKO Herr.

last night game what i saw about it his that are Defence was backing up to much and they were sitting right in front of the goalie ........ i will agree with the fect that are PK is passive , look how agressif LEW was for the blue line . Riopel did what he needed to do but again are D was not there it his not the kids fault and again yes the 5 goal should of been a save . me i don t know (i will probelly hear from this ) A Mac and Welton , to veterants that his supose to be there and help us , i understand they can score and they can do play's , but stupid stupid plays every game , if it his not Amac it his Welton , How about that beautiful spin in front of the net were weolton almost lost the puck ..... i am pretty sure if we need D these are not the one we should keep as 20 years old i am sure we can get better esle were . and please never do i want to see a Other match up of ARSSENEAUL and HEBERT together ..........................................

Riopel is playing too deep in his net ... some of Lew's goals were lazers but he is giving them those high corners to shoot at ... he gets scored on up high a lot. Riopel did not play a good game and did deserve to get yanked for the 3rd. Welton was solid last night ... try to acknowledge that ... MacDonald was brutal. Welton even took the puck in the mouth on the 4 on 3 PK in OT ... got up and finished the kill in pain ... very gutsy. MacDonald is playing too soft ... he needs to play more aggressive with a harder edge ... he trys to play with too much finesse and not enough grit.

Yes with Welton and A Mac giving the puck away so much I can see the Wildcat not getting much in return for these two (Givers) Teams see how much they give the puck away under pressure and sometime when they are not under pressure they give it away.

I thought Welton played very well last night. Showed a lot more heart but A Mac probably had one of his worst games so far this year. Crossman and Campbell played well. decent shots from the point as well. Might be two decent pickups. At least they add a bit of size to our backend. But now what happens to Emanuelle and Ouskun? A Mac, Welton and Pianosi will play so that leaves, Campbell, Crossman, Boyle (injured) Emanuelle, Ouskun, Herr, and possibly Bourdon. Not that its a bad thing to be deep in D men but who are the best combos?
A Mac and Crossman Welton and Campbell Pianosi and Ouskun Emanuelle as 7th?

Geez I think Emanuelle has been the best Defensemen to date and last night Campbell was -4. We've seen him 1 game I think you better hold off before making that decision.

I was just speculating. I agree with having Emanuelle as one of the main pairings but for the next few games I guess to judge the two newcomers or use one of them as a 7th.

I am gonna say 4-2 for the Cats with Riopel in net. That's cause you're an unrealistic homer..............Lewiston is pissed off for just losing in Newfoundland and they are the best team in our division........those 2 things will give them the win in Moncton..... Now!Now!where is that Mainiac s win? Now if only Lewiston can be really pissed off in Halifax tonigth! ;D

I expect we are bringing in all of these new Dmen because there are likely deals in place for perhaps both of Welton and MacDonald. These trades may take place before the trading period opens ... perhaps a two part deal with a player coming the other way during the trading period.
