Neil Hodge. I haven't checked yet but i'm pretty sure it's in today's T&T
EDIT: first paragraph of story in today's T&T:
The Moncton Wildcats have completed a trade with the Gatineau Olympiques to acquire the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League rights for Keith Yandle, a high-profile American defenceman.

You're right, I just opened Canadaeast and saw. I guess I have to stop wishing that he has the same attitude as Jesse Lane. ;D Any chance this could be linked to the swapping of picks on draft day weekend?

the cats have the potential to have alot of non-canadian players on this years squad.
bartulis, karsums, pineault, blanchette. add to that the possibility of bourque, yandle, strait, etc... and the cats could be one of the most uncanadian teams to play in the mem cup (no research here just guessing.) i wonder how that would play into the media's hands. just a thought

Cats acquire rights to Keith Yandle from Gatineau for a 5th rd. is '06. regardless of how it got done... it got done It seems Nolan's attitude has changed dramatically regarding players who've shown some reluctance to play in the Q. At first, he was quoted saying the Cats would not make efforts to convince such players to change their minds. Only players showing enthusiasm to join the team would be considered. Since then, however, he has admitted publicly he would try to entice such players as Danis-Pépin and others, including Yandle, to reconsider their options.

I d say that s quite a turn around for Nolan......definately reconsidering his options!

Maybe he's come to the realization that the current team is not of Memorial Cup quality and we can use all the help we can get.

Our team isnt that bad and its not missing that many pieces to be an elite team.

my question is who's the goalie to lead us to the promised land.an average goalie may win 1 playoff round at most.

This article from yesterday's Bangor Daily News let's you know where Yandle's head is. Looks like Nolan and Company have their work cut out to get him into a WC jersey this fall. Unless of course the academics fall through. bangornews.com/news/templates/?a=115259
