According to this morning's L'Acadie Nouvelle, John Torchetti will announce today the signature of two more FAs, including an American. Torchetti has also announced the immediate release of defenseman Campbell. Any idea who those two FAs might be?

Might be that Marcus Watson kid we had in here a few months back for a visit ... from San Jose I believe ... scoring at an astonishing pace in some mediocre high school league ... or something like that.

No matter how the FA's pan out, the fans owe Torch and RKI a big thank you for leaving no stone unturned trying to find players to make the team competitive. Tireless work that is appreciated by at least some of the fans. Can't wait to see how the next few weeks shape up.

Isn't Cormier out hurt?
Someone said he hurt his ankle, not sure if it was in a game or when he slipped outside Greco Pizza.

Sounds like whoever they are, they are 17 or 18 year olds. Torchetti mentions in the A-N that bth would have a chance to return next year if they meet expectations in the second half. Or else a very high end 19 year old whom he views as a possible upgrade on one of our twenties for next year ... already shaping up to be three pretty decent ones, so if it is a 19 year old, must be pretty good...
