I agree that there have been some huge strides made in the U.S. in their hockey program, but I don't think there's anywhere in the world that you can score 150 goals, 152 assists, have a +/- of 251 and not be known by every hockey fan/scout/coach/general manager in every league in North America and Europe. CNN or ESPN haven't heard of him?
Do his totals include air hockey and video games?
Maybe he's the only sighted player in the CNIB league.
Was he the only player on the state "Special" team who wasn't special?
I may have to eat crow ( I keep a couple in the freezer just in case) but this reminds me of the great 'Mike Fournier' signing...... a real nice kid and a not-so great hockey player.

Don't forget he says he's 20 years old but was born in '89... Obviously some kind of new math... That new math would make my two sons twins...not sure I'd want a drinkin' tobaccy chewin' guy on my team hopefully that was just there as sarcasm?? ;D ;D ;D

You must be miserable, you will have to endure him for a few more months. Hopefully after this year you will disappear with him. Unlike Welton's contribution to the team, your contribution to this board will not be missed. This is a real pet peeve of mine on the boards, not only this one. Posters who only show up to call down one player in particular in every post they make. I am sorry you feel that way, but many fans are very unhappy with Welton since the day he and his attitude arrived. This is a great team, and if you were to survey some of the players, they think it could be a better team without Welton. Yes, you may be surprised. We have some great talent on the team now and they will develop into some of the best players in the league. They have also done a great job on FA's. I am a big fan of this team and am sorry if you think that my opinion is not shared by you, however, I could not care less what you think. You're entitled to your opinion, but welton has received a lot of ice time from Larue, Lavigne, Nolan and Torchetti the last 4 years, playing in key situations for all of those coaches, they can't all be idiots, one of them was in the NHL last year, another is this year and a 3rd is coaching one of the top clubs in the Q.

Alot of junior hockey players chew. It's part of hockey. Dindn't you see Steve Downie with a big lipper following team Canada's gold medal game. That is the least of my worries. If the kid can play hockey that's all that matters

Even Hodgie put Watson's myspace url in his article today...
Is Ghengis Neil Hodge?
If not, I think we now know for a fact that Hodge reads the board. *waves to Neil*

Posting Watson's website on MySpace (the direct link anyways) should not have happened, since it is now also in print in the T&T I won't remove it.

I totally agree if someone has a web site there should be no reason why it could not be posted here (hockey only of course) Don't post the wildcats site on here that would not be right
