Tough loss, but at least they played well (arguably the best game all season). With a bit more experience, some of those 'almosts' may have found their way to the back of the net. All in all, a great season to watch, much better than expected. A bit of a disappointment the way things ended last night, but overall, a great season.
Brutal cowardly hit by Cote. Absolutely no place for that bullshit in hockey. How would Halifax like it if someone like Morehouse slammed Voracek into the boards like that. Glad AMac returned, but I'm sure he was hurting, otherwise he would have been out for part of the 5 minute powerplay.
Congrats to the Moose.

It's hard to give much credit to the goalie when he is usually out of position or dropping early, if you didn't see that you didn't watch the game. How about this for giving credit: You post some good points but usually you are so full shit and such a homer your posts aren't worth reading. But you still continue to read them ... and even take the time to respond ... just imagine.

My feet? You have no clue. Bathurst could not sell out a 3,500 building for a Sunday game. The Cats have played weekdays except for game 2...last night they had nearly 6,000, twice what you had Sunday. With a smaller population, the empty seat ratio in Bathurst was less than Moncton. We had weekday games too, not an excuse...your game should have been sold out yesterday but it wasn't even though there were lots of free tickets given out... sad...really sad You had under 3,000 for a Sunday afternoon playoff game, that's downright shameful.

You must be a huge fan of womens hockey.

Boarding is still a coward way of hitting because the other player is in a vulnerable position. Taking advantage of someone = Coward!!!

Taking advantage of someone = Coward!!! Taking shoulder to shoulder hits out of the game...thats setting a pretty high precedent dont u think? Here is the definition of boarding: A minor or major penalty, at the discretion of the Referee, based upon the degree of violence of the impact with the boards, shall be imposed on any player who checks an opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently in the boards. Yes, there was a violent colision with the boards and Cote got a penalty for it...BUt to call it dirty is crossing the line. He hit AMac Shoulder to Shoulder...not from behind...it was a violent collision like I said...Cote got the boarding call. To call him a coward is just retarded. He did nothing cowardly...he finished his check...in a shoulder to shoulder fashion.

Hitting is not in the game try to injure someone when they are a couple of feet from the boards. Trying to injure someone is being a coward! And I am sure if you would ask cote what he intended to do he would probably tell you he wanted to punish AMac. Or he might be to much of a coward to admit to it!!!
cote=COWARD

Cote would probably say he saw MacDonald look over his shoulder at him so for all he knew MacDonald was going to turn and take a clean hit or at least get prepared for it. It wasn't that big a deal. But to call someone a coward is very petty.

If it was a clean hit, he wouldn't have gotten 5 and a game. As for the women hockey comment, I stopped watching after you got cut.

Stop defending a 20 year old coward that was not good enough to be dressed for all 7 games and admit that it was a cheap shot at one of Moncton's best player. No place for it in hockey.

You try and wear down the other teams top guys in the playoffs. Cote went a tad overboard but he got the boarding penalty. I dont see his act as being cowardly... When Matt Marquardt hits guys, im sure he intends to do the same things as Cote, doesnt make Matt Marquardt a coward.

It was shoulder to shoulder...technically it was clean, but the big bang theory got him a penalty and the complete lack of awareness A Mac showed on the play. Judging by some of the comments in here it seems like Cote plowed A Mac into the boards head first and then climbed on the net and gave him an elbow drop to the head. Your last line wasnt funny by the way...such a generic come back...its like me saying your momma.

Have you contacted the national media and police? Surely, the way you describe the incident, it is deserving of criminal charge and Cote should be banned from any and every hockey in the world. The national media loves senstational stories so they'll help you out without a doubt. What are you waiting for?
