Should be a good crowd tomorrow night. I went to the box office this morning and they had their board saying that the upper bowl was sold out and 3 or 4 sections in the lower bowl sold out and I asked if it was for the Cats game on Tuesday night and indeed it was. When I was at the box office yesterday at noon they only had Section 29 as sold out... Just can't imagine all the balcony sold before the lower bowl. But when I was there getting ticket there was a large line up getting tickets so indeed should be a good 5000 + crowd.

Well when I was there at about 10:30 yesturday morning, their board out behind them with the seating arrangements, they had sold out stickers over all the sections in the balcony and I found that odd, so I asked if that was for the Cats game tonight and was told yes.

My guess - free tickets to schools to try and add to the atmosphere.

My guess - free tickets to schools to try and add to the atmosphere. You are correct! Only thing is that the schools (at least ABU anyways) aren't getting "tickets" per say. You show up wearing white with a valid student ID at the Wildcats office and they stamp your hand and tell you where to go sit. So they actually have no idea how many students will actually show up.

Its a good idea to get a good crowd but we should not need to have to do that for a game 7 IMO. I know it's Moncton and it's only the first round but it should be close to a full house.

It's pretty bad when you have to give away tickets in order to have fans show up at a game 7

Well I don't know about everyone else but I haven't been this nervous before a game since the Memorial Cup. Ah yes the Memorial Cup, remember the Final? A one-game showdown on Coliseum ice and we lost. I REALLY don't want the season to end like that again with a hated team celebrating victory on Coliseum ice.
The players have made it clear that they want NOISE!! So it's all up to the fans to make sure that happens!! I'm really hoping some of the atmosphere from last season's magical run can spill over into tonight's game. If there was one thing we missed out on in last year's playoff run it was the thrill of a 7th game. Tonight we get that chance and we can only hope the Cats will make their Game 6 victory worth it tonight. Play the way we've played for most of the season and perhaps we find a way to win once again.
GO CATS GO!!!!

Hmmm...let me see here... 3500 seats, 800 empty = approx 22.8% empty seats @ kci 5000 seats, 1194empty = approx 23.9% empty seats @ Moncton now, I don't have the exact numbers of seats in Moncton, so I used 5000 as an amount (I think there is more than that, You can correct me on that one).....but you are right....800empty seats is "ALMOST" as bad
