Anyone else notice that Pascal Vincent was not behind the bench tonight for the Eagles?
According to a Eagles fan, their broadcaster said that he had a meeting with the Wildcats brass at 9 pm tonight!

I could see Barberio, Culligan, Brannon and a first round pick for Bourdon, but there is NO WAY! that Marquardt is involved, unless the Eagles give a lot more than that, that return is good for Bourdon and if they want we can give up the rights to Zach Sill, and add say Brad Ouskun or Nick Emmanuele which ever they want between the two and we could throw in a great character guy like Chris Morehouse, but Marquardt is going nowhere. For those who think that is too much for Bourdon, Morehouse and Ouskun/Emmanuele, well then fine you dont get Luc its that simple take it or leave it, I am fine have the best defenseman in the league stay with the Cats for the rest of the year, if Pascal Vincent can't see that Bourdon alone would elevate his team that much higher over Lewiston, than screw him.

Perhaps he was someplace basking in the glory of his -3 effort vs the Fog Devils... Regarding tonight's game, we also shouldn't forget that CB was without Pavelec. He very well could have stolen this game in regulation for them.

I heard a rumour at the game that Ouskun is involved in some kind of deal, have to wait and see if it's true or not. He is not bad, but I think he can be replaced by guys like Campbell and Tolles. Ouskun would be a decent pickup for a team looking for depth on D.

It looked like the whole cat coaching staff was watching somebody on the CB team during the pre-game warm up. I don't think they looked at the Moncton team during the whole warm up.

Nobody from the Wildcats got on the CB bus. CB's general manager was in meetings for an hour before the bus left.

I was hoping the bus would take Welton to CB and leave him there myself.

If Cape Breton doesn't "buy" and the cats don't "sell" both teams will regret it down the line.

I do know Moorehouse and Lessard left the building out the back door before any CB players even came out of the dressing room. That's unusual for Moorehouse who usually goes upstairs and talks to his family for a half hour after every game.
