Babiak was on the Titan roster last year. He might still be. I seem to recall he was touted as a possible solution for your goaltending woes last year in camp - if memory serves, he never did show up for whatever reason .... are you sure he ever made it to your roster, or was he just a camp invite who never showed? he was on the 55 man roster.

I don't think he is or was on a Q list, he is not lisyed under players on the Q site. Also last year he was 17 and I don't think he could have come to the Q without being waived thru. I do think we will see him at the Wildcats camp though.

Hey, just dropping by to clear some info up.
Mike Babiak was an invite to AB-Titans last year, but due to an injury unfortunately could not attend the camp. He was given an extended window to come out to the team but that obviously didn't pan out, so he remained unsigned through the 06-07 season which he later spent in training.
Because of the extended window (and possibly space on the roster?) he remained on the Titans roster listing for longer than he really should have. He wasn't completely removed from the Q site until more recently, actually.
As far as residency is concerned, he was born in and still lives in Mississauga, ON; and yes, he will be at the Wildcats camp this year :-)
