ISS Scouting on him
Adam Bezak / Slovakia U 18 Position: LW Height: 5.09.5 Weight: 169 • Extremely agile skater – has quick acceleration and great lateral movement • Has quick hands – can beat D in 1-on-1 situations • Makes right decisions with the puck – his hockey sense is very good • Has quick-release wrist shot • Sees other teammates • Very useful penalty killer because of his skating abilities Bezak is a tireless skater who works hard every shift. He creates lots of chances with his speed. He intimidates D with his skating and often wins the race to a loose puck. He is not big, but throws a lot of bodychecks always finishing his hits. He has strong legs so he does not lose balance while taking hits very often. He has vision and creates opportunities for his teammates. He is a perfect penalty killer with great anticipation. Bezak’s performance this season has been very consistent and at a very high level. His skating abilities and work ethic help make him a complete player.
Personally this scouting report reminds me a lot of Latal who has good skill and incredible wheels. Only difference is I would only classify Latal's hockey sense as average and he isn't really physical although he doesn't shy away from it either.

I can see Sniderman Mangan Marquardt Lincourt Lepage Brenton all being available next trading period. With Rouyn picking up a goalie, they may be interested in switching Euro picks (#27) for one of our extra 20's. Lincourt could fit there, they could use a 20 forward.

Yeah but Rouyn isn't really known for acquiring "lazy"players, they seem to be more into the Whitehead/Carpentier hard working two way players with good heart....as much as Lincourt has skill I don't see him fitting in with Rouyn, although it could be a three way deal.

Also wondering if we will be able to trade our 45th pick and if so receive what kind of return for it?

Sounds cheap enough. He's seems to have size which we missed last season and hopefully he hits and hits hard.

I'm happy with that trade. I still hope we can now get something for our pick. We already traded away our 3rs, 5th and 6th round picks for next year.

Would I be correct in thinking that we might not need our import picks next year? Both players, if they work out, should be here for two season. Maybe we can turn those picks back into mid-round Q draft choices.

Round 2 shows that Quebec has Saint John's pick ... but thats the only pick Patrick has as far as I can see. We could trade him #45 for a 5th '08 and then it cost us nothing to move up.
Edit: Looks like he picked up another 2nd rounder from Rimouski ... he is selecting 63rd and 65th overall ... he has to be interested in moving up to 45.
