LGM is probably crying his eyes out. Maybe Btitan can be his crying shoulder. I would assume that each team is getting some sort of financial benefit from Telus or the teams wouldn't agree to it. Telus had to pay something to get the rights to this.

To offer it for free as announced, Telus must have some sponsors lined up.
I doubt offering webcast games will affect the attendance negatively. By being able to watch road games it increases the following of the team and interest in the team, which should translate into more people at the home games.
