The Cats website has had a make over and is now up and running live in English (French to follow by May 7) The improvements to the site have been possible thanks to a major effort by season ticket holder and cats fan Mike Bastarache. Check out the alumni section of the site. It has a lot of great information covering the history of the franchise. Comments and suggestions for the continued improvement of the site are welcomed.

Uh oh, on the main page to choose my language I see just a white box with a red x.
Oh, and clicking on English I get a 404 error.
Does look purdy though.

Your webbrowswer just had the old site cached. That is why nothing loaded correctly because the old files are gone. Just clear your browsers cache and your good to go or try the refresh button.

I had done that a day earlier and had not visited the Cats site for weeks until today. The feel of the site is similar to the previous incarnation. 2 things though: 1) You really should add something about the Alpines to the history section, they may not have been owned by RKI, but without the Alpines he would not have the team today. 2) You have a typo, who is this Dmitry Afanasenkov listed under the Alumni section. Seriously though, keep the cheeze off the site and it'll be a good site. Like that the poll question is actually about hockey.

Especially that the player stats with the Alpines are not included. Roger is the top scorer in franchise history, not Bernier (no slight on Bernier as he is the best forward in franchise history). Nice site though.

mbastarache:
Mike, is there any chance you could put up the video of a thunderous check near centre ice from Trevor Ettinger that put the recipient in his own players' box? Guessing it was from 99-00 or perhaps 00-01. Guessing the Wildcats' organization has a copy of it; it used to get played on the (old) big screen frequently. Hopefuly other posters can give you more specific info.
Love the new site by the way; keep up the great work; would love a section on what alumni are doing now--teams and stats??
thanks

I hope to get into more of the video archives during the summer. Believe it or not, it took me six plus months to build the current database, scan photos and digitize the video clips. And that is what was on hand. Previous administrations didn't keep a good archive on any material so it is very tough to get the old stuff. But, I'm working on it. Summer project.

Mike: really appreciate all your efforts!
Other posters: Anybody still have a copy of the 00-01 schedule that can tell Mike what dates the Moose played in Moncton that season???
