UGH Lewiston up 3-0 in the series now. Is this the end of exciting, entertaining hockey in the Q? Defense first winning in the Q? This is the worst possible thing that could ever happen to this league. Our team has a 1st year coaching staff and I sure hope they don't start thinking defence first is the way to win in the Q because I don't feel like paying money for season tickets to watch that shit Lewiston plays. 7 goals were scored. I guess you were looking for something like 10 or 15. While the amount of goals scored in a game is sometimes indicative of how the game was played it's not always the case. I saw some pretty exciting 1-0 and 2-1 games this season and I think you would agree that a game with only a few goals being scored can be exciting. I've also seen some games with a lot of goals scored that were less than entertaining. Regardless I wasn't even commenting on Game 3 in particular as I was only half paying attention to the game. I was just commenting on Lewiston's play in general over the season. Are they a great team? You betcha! But they're also probably the dullest team I've ever seen win the Q (barring a Val-d'Or miracle) since I started following the league.

Personnally I think Lewiston deserves alot more credit than they get for how hard they work.
I'd rather see a team that's disciplined and incredibly hard working represent the league at the Mem Cup than a team that show's up when they want to and spends more time hotdogging than your average NFL team...

It's over. Lewiston are the 2006-2007 President's Cup Champions and are off to the Memorial Cup. I sure didn't expect the sweep.
Congratulations and good luck at the Memorial Cup.
