I'd just keep him and let him rot in Jr. A if he indeed wasn't planning the NCAA route. I'd do that with a 4th or 5th ... but not a 1st to 3rd. If you were my GM I'd let you do that once ... a second time wasting a valubale asset and I'd fire your ass. What if my ass. had nothing to do with it? Would you still fire him......I guess as long as he continued to take the heat, I'd have no problems.

Heard from someone this weekend while over on PEI that the Wildcats plan on going WAY off the board with their 1st round pick. I didnt catch his name but from what I heard, this player is big with some offensive upside and he's from the US. If I hear anything else, I'll be sure to post it.

Yet another top prospect from this year's draft has committed to a prep school. Steve Anthony of Halifax will play for Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts. Add MacAusland and the Biega kid, thats 3 players ranked in the 1st round who are going prep. There is also talk of Louis LeBlanc making the move to the US as well.
Earlier in this thread, I posted about hearing the Wildcats were planning on going "Off The Board" with their 1st round pick this year. The name of the American kid is Jordan Samuels (6'2", 182) He's a 1990 born.

I believe that Biega will go that route, seeing as his 2 older brothers did. As for Anthony and MacAusland, I'll believe it when they don't show up at a Q camp in August.
