Nice story on junior Majeur on RDS about this kids background. Hes a Lewiston s 6th rd draft pick and to say 2 years ago he was playing Midget B. Quite a find for Lewy! He migth be going in the 1st round draft pick in the NHl this year........

Perron is ranked 10th in the final CBS ranking. I think that will get him into the first round.

Perron is ranked 10th in the final CBS ranking. I think that will get him into the first round. The CSB ranking won't get him anything. They are out to lunch on nearly 1/3 of the players they have rated. Just look at where they have Grant(196th), when you add goalies and Euros he'd be around 300th...and not drafted. I think Grant will go either late 2nd or early 3rd round, he had a strong 2nd half and has the size and mobility NHL teams can't overlook.

Yeah, I did a double-take when I saw Grant ranked so low. If someone gets him anywhere after the 3rd round, I think he's a steal. You have to wonder if maybe SJ players didn't get scouted as much, or whether playing on a poor (but improving) team clouded the scouts' view of his development.
