My favorite part of the game was when the announcer said that Chad Denny got a penalty for a dirty hit on White. Then and minute later my buddy Bryce Swan does worse to the Lewiston player and he says nothing. It is so nice to see the Halifax team try to intimidate a team like we had last year that can bounce their asses into the tenth row. It looks good on them.

and B-C beat Val dor 5 to 4 Former Cat J-S Adam with the gamewinner to break a 4-4 tie in the third period ... Elsewhere, it appears Levasseur was injured in game 1 of the R-N - Drummondville series, andformer Cat Guillaume Blouin was pressed into starting duty as the Volts win game 2 4-1 ... this one will be over quick if Levasseur's injury is serious ...

And why does it look good on the moose? Because you lost to them?

More coming and I intend to post my delight every time.

How do you know what Swan supposedly did was worse than what Denny did? Did Swan get a penalty?

What the announcer "said" that Courcelles had just put his hand on the puck and then Swan had either checked him from behind or boarded him I tried to find out which but I couldn't. So I ask you how dirty is is checking someone while on the ice into the boards from behind. Two things about Swan he 1: Only checks when your back is turned and 2: Only checks smaller players. Both are in this case true. Chad Denny will make short work of him shortly.

I wouldn't necessarily count out Rouyn even without Levasseur. Their super fast transitions, depth and special teams and a couple of dreadful games from Mior are the main reasons why they took out Gatineau so quickly, Levasseur was solid (particularly in game 5) but certainly didn't steal the series for them. If Blouin plays as well as he can, he shouldn't be too much of a liability, especially if Rouyn can keep Brassard in check. It's still anyone's series with Rouyn getting the split and taking over home ice advantage. Drummondville were on fire last night, they played with desperation not wanting to go to Rouyn down 2-0, they would have won even with a healthy Levasseur in nets IMO.

Elbow to the head vs. Knocking over a guy who is on all-fours trying to cover up the puck.

In both Swan and Denny's case, both are capable except typically Denny can and will do it to the biggest guy on the teams face. That's why when we played Lewiston, we didn't have to worry about the back stabbing cheapshots that Halifax is capable of. If they were going to hit us they did it to our faces and no one got hurt. When you play Halifax its stickwork, from behind, multiple on one .... . When they met a bigger team that style doesn't work. Halifax vs SNL 4 to 4.

SOMEBODY hasn't moved on quite yet Swan hits everyone he can... I cant even remember a checking from behind penalty on him... ever... Im sure there may have been one, but for a guy you say ONLY checks small players from behind, you'd think I'd remember ONE instance...

Swan is the biggest cry baby I've seen since last year, the two games I watched in Lewy, he was pathetic. And yes, I am a homey, and Marshall is not a clean player, everyone knows that but at least he won't back down.
