Am missing something or are we waiting for the last possible second to start this thread? If I'm not missing something then Here's mine.

I was wondering the same thing, I'm guessing people are still grieving over the Cats loss.
I predict 3 of the 4 series won't be very long... but Drummondville/Rouyn should be a dandy, I might take in a game or two.

Halifax @ Lewiston - Lewiston in 5
Before Game 6 of the Cats series, I would've said Lewiston in 6... but the Moose had to grind through an extra four periods of hockey last night (and I'm sure that extra minute and a half of the second OT had it's subtle effect ). Moose will make the series respectable... mostly one or two goal differentials... but Lewy will be in round three for the first time ever this year.
Acadie-Bathurst @ Cape Breton - Cape Breton in 6
The rosters on paper in themselves should dictate how this series will end up.... offensive depth will probably be the key factor in this series... and while Bathurst showed some depth against the Rocket, the Eagles depth chart is very impressive. Scott Brannon will have a big series, tuning up for his Wildcat debut next year. Lots of one goal games here... probably a couple in OT.
I will also go on record right now and say if the Eagles clinch this series in Bathurst, they stand an even greater chance of making it to the finals. A series clinching win in Bathurst would exercise ALOT of playoff demons for this franchise.
If the Eagles lose this series, the titan should consider changing the logo on their jersey to a viking bitch-slapping an Eagle (note to Leo-Guy.... great marketing ploy right here).
Baie-Comeau @ Val d'Or - Val D'Or in 7
This will come down to home ice.... I think. I'll level with you... this series is VERY hard to call (and the next one on the list is not much easier). Could be alot of offensive fireworks in this series... and probably two or three OT games.... but it could also be a five game cakewalk either way. Val d'Or SHOULD win this series.... but I'm not sure how long it will take, so I guess that means it will most likely go the distance (yeah... that's sounds right)
Rouyn-Noranda @ Drummondville - Drummondville in 6
Will Drummondville make it to the third round for only the second time since 1991? Yes they will! Taking out the Remparts in quick fashioned has shown this team that they are just as capable of performing under the added pressure of the playoffs as they were during the regular season. Derrick Brassard will give the RN defence corps nightmares and will be the biggest difference maker in this series.
