As quoted in the Saturday March 31st edition of The Daily News.
"Head coach John Torchetti said his team “showed true character and grit” and dedicated the victory to Wildcats owner Robert Irving. “I thought we owed that to our owner, going back (to Moncton Coliseum) for Game 7,” Torchetti said. “We’ve got an owner that just treats this team like gold and I felt he deserved a Game 7.” "
What about you guys? Those fans that are in the rink day in day out and who spend their hard earned dollars that allows Irving to "treat the players like gold", there's no mention of you deserving a Game 7, well I guess its because the majority of you left early on Wednesday.
It has become apparent that the fans really mean nothing to Wildcats organization and the only one person that has any influence is Robert Kenneth Irving.

They can dedicate the game to the scoreboard for all I care. Whatever they need to do to get them the extra motivation. All the recognition the true fans want is a 60 minute effort win or lose. Which I am positive we will get on Tues.

Wow what a pointless thread Here's a quote from the T&T: ``It's a great team win with contributions from everybody. Now, we're going to Game 7 at home and looking forward to it. We're looking forward to having a big crowd cheering us on. Hopefully, our fans will make lots of noise and help provide lots of energy for our team to feed off in that game." Looks like the fans mean something after all. Of course that's also a message to MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!!

Speaking of noisemakers.. anyone know where I can get something cheap that makes a lot of noise. My nephew is going to the game and he wants to buy something that he can make noise with and I thought since there are so many noisemakers out here, I would direct the question to you all.

On Tuesday night, there will be thundersticks given out to everyone and white T-Shirts will be onsale prior to the game. All this to show the team and create the atmosphere and excitement to make this a winning evening. ;D ;D

For about $25, you can get a portable marine air horn (has a cannister with a compressed gas inside) at Canadian Tire. If money is no object, that is one of the loudest horns you can get. Other than that, I know the Gift Boutique were selling the ones shaped like a hockey puck that you blow into.

For a smaller price you can get the refil can.

I ended up buying one on eBay for alot cheaper.

JUST the can is 11.74. That's a $6.23 difference. $7.10 difference with the tax. I dunno about you but I'll take that 7 bucks. That's a beer and a half at the Coliseum. So if you buy 1 air horn and two cans. You get one can for each period. You saved 14 dollars which is 3 beer. You get one beer per period, 3 cans of air horn supply, one air horn and alot of bitchy fans. ;D

I think it was like $25 for the horn and a can, and $24.50 for the refill. I would've just bought the refill to save the $0.50. Sounds like the costs have gone down. It's been a few years since I picked one up.
