4200 for a preseason game in St.John! Talk about hockey starved! They had over 2,000 for intersquad games also! Just came back, I'll have some details tomorrow, but for now: SJ had a lot of veterans dressed tonight, while Bathurst was mostly rookies who left their balls at home (except Davidson, Lamontagne and very few others)! The difference in the lineup explains the outcome in the goals department. Aside from Minivan, nothing really interesting to note for Bathurst. A few interesting players for SJ, like Grant especially!! Lots of people at the game, but fairly quiet... with my eyes closed, I could have imagined myself at the coliseum! The reffing was fairly good. Not too many penalties for an exhibition game... it helped that Bathurst showed up small and scared. Very little icing calls and few long passes even with the new rules. Players will need time to adapt I guess. That's all for tonight.

4200 for a preseason game in St.John! Talk about hockey starved! They had over 2,000 for intersquad games also! The even bigger shock from last night was the there were over 2,000 for a pre-season game in Drummondville last night!! They don't even get that many for regular season games.
