Why Why Why would anyone want to see Brad Marchand again. Five foot f**k all, 160lbs. He can handle to puck and skate but if he doesn't grow the other players just push him around until he doesn't matter (just like last year). Steve Bernier is gone so what player from last year is going to have the balls to stand in front of the net. It sure ain't going to be Marchand.

You mean Marchand at 16 wasn't as big and strong as the other players in the league?

All I'm saying is that if doesn't grow at least 6-12 inches and put on 50lbs of muscle, then his hockey career is not happening and he is just hurting us while we wait to see if he grows.

You rate Marchand as a to small wuss despite the fact that he made the U18 team and he was hard as hell to knock off the puck last year. I remember guys trying to hit him in open ice and not being able to take him down and I believe he has beefed up this year.

Adam Pineault will be the man this year. I think we should have one player each game wear a full shield so somebody can stand in front of the net when he shoots from the point.

I remember last year his patented move when would try to jump behind the defenseman to get a break and even though it never worked the first 2000 times he tried it, he never let that stop him the 2001 time. I also remember him being sat the third period of some of the playoff games because of lack of effort. If you guys want to see Bradley again, just try to remember that after December.

I remember Bernier always trying to same inside outside move all the time, 19 out of 20 times it wouldn't work. Weren't other players benched for a period at a time as well last year? Seriously, I think some of use here have too much time on our hands to continually harp negatively on one player.

To make my original point, Marchand is too small as was everyone except Saunders and Bernier. These two guys were the only two with enough balls to stand in front of the nets. That was our "unbelievably obvious" obvious" problem last year. In the dark days of last year they even put Saunders on the power play line as a forward to stand in front of the nets. The guys last year were great players but too many of them were Five foot nothing and when the other teams started to check us, they didn't stand a chance. Bernier and Saunders were a two men team most games. Nobody has more respect for Girard then me, but you can only carry so many small guys. Marchand would be great if we didn't also have Samsom, Globe, Girard, Hepditch, ............ One of these players maybe two but not most of the team.

First of all you need to go back to grade 3 and learn how to spell. Second, Glode is done playing junior hockey as he is 21, plus he is 6'1" 190, how is that small? hepditch is primarily a d-man and is 20 this year, unlikely to be back.

No I didn't compare Marchand and Bernier, I mentioned how Bernier would try the same inside outside move all the time and fail ... you chastise Marchand for the same, should you not be here chastising Bernier as well? Or does it not suit your argument of bringing Marchand down? Girard is a tireless worker, however are you saying you would keep Girard over Marchand? Since you can only have "so many small guys"? If you say yes, you might as well stop following hockey as you obviously don't know skill.

That's exactly what I am saying. I would sooner have two have two Girards then two Marchands. Girard has unquestionalbe work ethics, team focused, toughness for his size, and would do whatever it took to play as a player twice his size.
Don't even try to say that Bernier's Inside Out is the same as Marchands and yes when Bernier's gets to the NHL they will get him to stop it too cause the defense at that level will set him on his ass evey time just like is currently happening with Marchand.

Holy shit!Hepditch may be small but sure plays alot bigger than Graham s 6-05"s!
