I have a feeling one of the Bathurst games will be switched from being in Bathurst to being a home game for the Cats. It's the only game on the Wildcat AND the Titan schedule that doesn't balance out. I think it was an error and will be corrected at some point. If not, then the Cats got screwed by an administrative error.

I figure next year the situation will be the exact reverse.

So next year it would make sense that we play in Moncton 5 times and St. John's plays in Bathurst 4 times and we only have one trip to the Rock. I guess that a number of teams have similar setups to the Moncton-Bathurst-St.John's triangle..... like all the teams in our conference. Any idea if it's CB and Halifax pairing up with PEI and Lewiston as the last pairing?

When the schedule was first presented, it was done on a graph so you could see at a glance the number of games played at home (horizontal) and away (vertical). I tried to find this again to copy the link but could not as dates, etc, are now shown. CB and Hal play each other 5 times. Lew is the one that gets to go to the Rock for 3 games, to make the 35 at home I guess. All the rest that play at the Rock, play either 2 or 4 games there. As Relax indicated all the teams in our division play all the other teams outside our division 1 and 1, with the exception of NL, who plays some teams twice at home and the other teams twice on the road.

Why does Moncton always seem to open the season with road games? This is at least the third year in a row isn't it?

Why does Moncton always seem to open the season with road games? This is at least the third year in a row isn't it? We opened at home last year against Cape Breton, a 5-2 win. The last two season before that we have opened on the road. Personally I'd almost rather open on the road as there's almost no doubt that our team will be depleted by the number of players still in NHL training camp, just like in 2003-04. So by the time our home opener rolls around we should only be missing one or two guys and won't be embarrased like the 03-04 opener in Bathurst.
