I just find it a bit funny that last season the Rocket, a team that didn't make the playoffs signed a TierII "Tough guy" in Alex Ennaffati.......People everywhere laughed. This season the Host team of the Mem Cup signs a TierII "Tough guy".......and it is not so funny. Why is that? ... The difference is that PEI signed him during the season, while Moore and Spencer were signed to try-out deals. It's good to get some free agents in at camp to fight for some positions, it helps to keep everyone's effort a bit more honest. Don't forget either that Doucette and Cormier both went through Jr. A before making it to the Q. They aren't at the same caliber, but they fit their roles well. And this is the MJAHL, more likely weeker than both the BCHL and SJHL/SJAHL (whatever their name is). These players don't necessarily have to beat Cormier, as long as someone is there to fit the enforcer role, so to protect the other players and keeping on the ice (e.g Saunders). I'm not saying that both or any of them will make the team, but it's good to at least have something to look at during camp. Until we see them in street clothes, no one will know for sure!

IHe fought Davidson twice in Bathurst I think, and according to some he won both....and according to others he split them with him. Won both?? Who the hell said that?? They obviously weren't there. He got the snot beat out of him by Davidson. Enefatti was not a quality fighter by any means.

As I mentioned I never even heard of Moore until finding out about him going to Moncton, So i cant knock what I cant see. As for Alex, he fought once last season at the CCC against Cormier and of course lost....but who didn't against Keven eh? He fought Davidson twice in Bathurst I think, and according to some he won both....and according to others he split them with him. My point is I can't see Moore being that "tough guy" the Wildcats need for THIS year. If he proves me wrong.....good for him. We shall see in preseason I guess. People laughed because Eneffatti couldn't fight and had no skill. And Moore does? this was what I was asking that question in response too Make Nobody has seen him fight yet and he sure doesn't sound very skilled to me

Thanks for your permission I'll make fun of whomever I wish to.... I agree he is an unknown commodity which is why I am laughing at the fans who are all giddy about this unknown kid coming to camp

cats signed shaun clinton from pembroke jr. A in Ontario yesterday. he also spent some time with belleville.
hopefully with all these jr. a signings they'll get a couple of pleasant surprises that can crash and bang (productively) on the 3rd and 4th lines. Nolan says in his interview yesterday that they're looking for guys who have slipped through the major junior cracks somehow. hopefully they'll find a few. it's not like it's costing them draft picks or anything, so i say load up!

They think Clinton can be a skill guy, he had 5-7-12 16PIMs as a 17 year old in 48 games. He went to Pembrooke Jr.A as he did not get along with the Belleville coach...6'3" 200lbs.
