An interesting parallel can be drawn with Karsums and Beauregard ... both put up impressive numbers at 17 ... both missed a large part of the season at 18 ... both will be expected to lead offensively at 19 with 30 to 40 goals. Oh wait ... Beauregard's career high is only 18 goals ... 37 in his entire career ... scratch the parallel ... Really it's difficult to draw parallel (read next to impossible) between any 2 players. Karsums had that extra 1/2 year. Beauregard never had the support of his head coach his first year whereas Karsums did. Too many differing variables.

Doesn't Beauregard have an entire extra season when he played at 16 ? It would seem your points are empty.

Plus Karsums plays physical and plays all 200 feet of the rink...not just the 250 square foot in the slot.

In the past 6 years the only 2 players that I found could be compared to each other accurately were Patrice Bergeron and Petr Vrana
