I found this little article on the T&T this morning We've had some very good conversations with Dimitruk and Samuels-Thomas in the past few months," said Wildcats head scout Peter Nevin. ``There's some light there right now. It's a 50-50 situation with them so we're going to keep talking to them. ``We haven't talked to Moore yet. All three of these guys are equivalent to first or second round picks." Dimitruk, 6-foot-1 and 179 pounds, played last season in the U.S. prep school ranks. ``In my opinion, skill-wise Dimitruk is in the top three defencemen in the draft," said Nevin. ``He's a quarterback style defenceman, very smooth, very smart, involved in the play." Samuels-Thomas, 6-foot-2 and 182 pounds, played junior A in the U.S. last season. Moore, 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, spent last season with the U.S. national under-17 development program. ``Samuels-Thomas is a big forward, great in traffic with the puck, great hands," said Nevin. ``He loves to score and plays physical also. Moore is a speedy forward who would fit very well into this league." Moncton head coach and director of hockey operations Danny Flynn points out it takes recruitment to bring American players into the QMJHL. Very interesting!
