Just wondering.... Incase this game does go to a shoot-out, can someone please bring a Camera with them incase T.J. Brennan shoots for us? Last Road trip in PEI Brennan apparently pulled off an absolutly beautiful/insane Shoot Out goal. Some PEI fans said it was the best goal they've seen in their barn in some time. Unfortunatly we Devil Fans havent gotten to see it. So just for the slim chance this game goes to a shoot out. Someone please bring a camera and capture TJ Brennan in the shoot out. Thanks. The game will be webcast ... you should be able to copy any video clips if you have a vid-capture software like Capturewiz.com

Let's just hope this "storm" which closed down the schools and I'm sure cancelled other activities doesn't stop fans from seeing this game. Surely someone will get the footage you want!

Also, there is a possibility that the Cats will put the highlights on their site. There are a few game highlights there.

They won't show visitors replays, when they played vs Shawinigan and Cormier scored I was watching for the replay and all they kept showing was Marquardt's goal from like 10 minutes before.....I counted 9 times they showed it Sometimes its nice to see the replay (especially when its a nice one)even from the other team.I know they do...but very very rarely. For the record I'm not saying Cormier's goal was nice...I actually wanted to see the replay because it looked weak on first view.

The Fog Devils should get their first win tonight in Moncton as long as Ejov doesn't start in goal.

I know the new defense is interesting to watch but I would like to see Emmanuele in there tomorrow. He's more stable then some of the new guys or the rookies and we will need him against the big guys on NFld. You can justify Emmanuele ahead of Ouskun as the 6th, but the other five should be fixtures in the lineup the rest of the year. I don't see much playing time for Tolles, unless injuries hit. I'll take Barberio or Goyens over Emmanuele anyday, and I have nothing against Emmanuele other than that he just isn't a very special player. Sitting out any of the three d-men sure to return next year (Barberio, Pianosi, Goyens) would be a travesty. He's not special by any means... but he is a hard worker who's improved since training camp and has looked more confident as of late. I realize he'll be part of a rotation of extra dmen from here on out, but I don't like the fact that he's sat a couple in a row.

I thought the cats played an excellent first period. The forwards were flying and the defence was standing up at offensive blue line keeping the puck in and standing up at our blue line forcing St John's to shoot the puck in.
They came out in the second kind of flat and the defence started to make bad passes again which seemed to be catching and by the third the whole team was playing poorly except Sniderman. They went back to way too much passing and not enough shooting on the powerplay as well. A very poor decision by Eagles at the end to pass instead of shooting into the empty net when we were shorthanded and they had an extra attacker on for the goalie and only up one goal.
A very nice break away goal by Moorehouse coming out of the box and Sniderman just keeps turning them aside on penalty shots and shoot-outs.

If Boland remembers anything, it will be that hit.

When that empty net opportunity was missed, I had visions of the Dallas-Edmonton game a few weeks back where Dallas missed the empty net on a breakaway, and Edmonton came back to tie the game.

One thing they can do is lose the noise meter on the scoreboard. Once or twice a period is plenty but it was getting very annoying during the third period played that many times. I know there were lots of Tim Bits there to be entertained but maybe try some chants or the wave or something as a change of pace.

It did get a bit much - especially since there was 2 younger girls screaming like Banshees every time the "noise meter" was shown. By the sounds of their screams, I don't think they suffer from asthma.
