as for your team, they are weaker this is the same Devils team you destroyed 10-0,and 10-1 on home ice last year and this year you barely walked out with a 4-3 win my opinion 5on 5 the Devils owned you but of course we never have much 5 on 5 always someone shorthanded FYI, Cat's 4th goal was SHORTHANDED...that's right. We had one in the box and still managed to score, so you can't say you lost because you spent alot of time being shorthanded Pst... the 2nd goal was shorthanded... Gaudet did all the work by getting to the puck behind the net then centering to MacLellan...

oops, I was looking at the Q site to verify which goal it was and saw it was 4th, but my oversite was that it was the 4th of the game, not for the Cats.. Time to have coffee to wake up! Thanks for the correction.

Cats fans can say what they want about the devils style of play. And trouty can say what he wants about being shorthanded, the Devils only allowed 1 goal against on the PP. Although Moncton is only clickin at 18%, they had a man advantage 9 times, 1 goal against isnt bad at all. However bein down a man constantly, deffinitly limits your scoring chances and ultimatly puts u in defensive mode (obvisouly) basicaly for 18 minutes (2 min. less a period) the devils could do nothing but play Defenceiv hockey. Primarily playing a 40 min hockey game (with scoring chances) against the cats, and keeping there composure..they were still able to only lose by 1 goal to a team whos only got 6 loses at home (and 1 shootout loss) all year (and carrying carrying a .667W% at home.).
I dont see it as such a horrendous loss when to take those things into account.

I thought the game was pretty entertaining. You guys are not the same team as last year. Neither are we but it was a lot more fun to watch. You guys are still a pretty big team. I was really impressed with Grahm, Welcher Brannon and of course Spencer. It was fun watching him again. He came out flying last night. Either way I was impressed with the intensity that you guys came out with. You've got some talent there for the next couple of years.

I agree, it wasn't a horrendous loss for Devils, and it wasn't a spectacular win for Cats...We are not known for our pp goals that's for sure! Like I said in previous post, it was a good game to watch with pros and cons for both teams...nobody I think is peeing in anybody's cornflakes (except for trouty maybe)...

I was refresing not to see another Goon Squad, as someone else put it. I'm glad the SJN fans look to have a team that will keep getting better, because they have great fans up there who probably didn't deserve to lose the Baby Leafs.

If you had any chance of trouty leaving the board alone you dont now..u braught up the baby leafs. And if theres anyone who dont like them anymore...then its trouty...

I was referring to Whelton and the fact that Spencer hates him. Spencer wanted to go so bad but, wasn't just going to jump him and look like a goon. He asked him several times but the pussy that Whelton is he didn't even look him in the eye. After every whistle Tim would hit him going off the ice. I for one would have liked Spencer to put a beating on him and give him a wake up call but Spencer was a class act and didn't be an idiot and just jump him. As for Tim and Chris getting into it, they were just having fun and playing physical. That was just entertaining to watch. Oh well they are back here in two weeks, the way we are trading players it looks like Whelton will still be here to play them but, if Whelton is traded and Tim meets him in another city he'll pound Whelton into next week because he won't care how much of a goon he looks like in say Lewiston over looking like a goon here in Moncton.

That has to be one of the dumbest posts I have ever read. How does not wanting to fight Spencer make Welton a pussy? There are no good reasons why he should. How does Welton fighting a 3rd/4th line "role player" going to help the Cats?

I dont see it as such a horrendous loss when to take those things into account. Technically it was 15:00 minutes on the PP. There were some shortened PP's. It wasn't a horrenduous loss, but to blame the refs as trouty is doing is assinine. None of the Fog Devils players did themselves any favours with the hooks and holds they were placing. At this point in time, take solace in the fact that your team is not far off from being competitive in every game.

I thought about the 15 as well but once i had it typed up i was too lazy to add it in. Thats the point of view i am taking. To look at our team last year over all plus the road wins, and the way we are as of now (having good games home and on the road). Things are looking very bright down the road for the fog devils.

Why does Spencer hate Welton? Did something happen between them?
