Here I am waiting to see what is the first move we are going to make to finally see which direction we are taking and if this is the case it really doesn't clear anything up for me. Lincourt has 17g 17a in 42 games. 6'1 203 pnds. Gives us some much needed size up front but maybe a replacement for Marqhardt??
What are the picks??

I heard it too. If everyone is hearing it then it's very possible to be true.

Hopefully it will be the replacement for Marqhardt. Especially if we are giving a 5th and a 3rd. We must be getting some picks in other trades. Maybe Marqhardt is going on the CB bus.

Marquardt and Luc Bourdon's rights will be going on the Cape Breton bus tonight while Scott Brannon and Mark Barberio will be staying behind and then heading to Halifax tomorrow with their new team.

I'm not sure CB has enough players to trade for Bourdon's rights. We lost two great players for him. If they trade him away, they better get the farm back.

I don't believe I've seen either player before, but from the looks of their stats and their ages, those are two very good young players.

Both could contribute now...that type of deal would not make the cats mediocre but help a huge deal the next 2 years. I believe it would be a very good deal for both teams. It would certainly put Cape Breton right at the top in terms of contenders in the Q this season and the deal will help us big time the next 2 years as you said. However, I'm getting the feeling that Cape Breton is way too chicken to make any moves to put them over the top. Needless to say the next 45 hours are going to be very interesting, stay tuned...

If the (at this point) hypothetical deal sending Bourdon & Marquardt to CB for Brannon and Barberio goes down, would any of these players dress for their current teams tonight?

Usually lunch is around noon time, however I see that a lot of you are out to lunch tonight, ha ha ha. This is just like last year; a bunch of guesses. If it happens, it will happen. If it doesn't so be it. So go watch the Seahawks and Cowboys beat up one another.
