Not sure what Yandle did to deserve a demotion ... he was getting PP ice time, and was even in the plus/minus, a hell of a lot better than you can say for any of the other Yotes d-men ... Boynton -10, Morris -7, Seidenberg -7, none of whom have any more points than Yandle....
As for Goulet, looks to be setting up for a return to the Q. Some V-D fans are saying they have no room and will look to deal him - foolish IMO ... 50 goal scorer with a Cup ring ... he would give them as much production as Roy with a much better work ethic ... they could also ditch Vincent who has struggled.

Does Goulet come here first and then to Val D'Or at the X mas trade period or to Val D'Or right away?

Vincent would be the easiest one to replace...get a Davenport or Dupont(who needs a change of scenery).

If Goulet comes back and Bourdon sticks, I could see Gaudet being traded to a contender.

Why wouldn't we trade Goulet instead of Gaudet. We could probably get a little more for Goulet then Gaudet. IMO.

I guess they could trade Goulet, but he would add more firepower to this years' team , which is a big sore point right now.

You probable get a 4th rounder for gaudet Gaudet would be worth more than that, mostly because of what he brings off the ice plus having been part of a championship team. Unless they get an "offer they can't refuse" I don't see him going anywhere.

Just to let you all know. Goulet had Visa problems and could not enter the U.S. for a lenghty period of time. By the time he got to his AHL team he had missed all pre-season and all the practises. The lines were all set and the team had gelled and he was having a tough time getting ice time. Edmonton was trying to get a spot on another team but, apparantly didn't find a team looking for a forward, hence the demotion.

A little off topic, but I just ran an update from Oct 23rd on my Xbox 360 version of NHL 2K7 via X-box live, and Yandle has been added to the phoenix line-up, previously he wasn't even in the AHL squad on the game no picture until next season I'd say, but still pretty really cool
