So, anyone willing to go out on a limb for tonight's game?
I guess the first question should who will get the start? Riopel played great, as we all know, and Sniderman apparently did a pretty good job up in Bathurst. But who will it be this afternoon?
Who will be scratched? Considering the young defense we're playing against, I would like to see both Martikainen and Voroshilov on the ice.
I think it should be a pretty good game. Joyal is a better goalie then what the Wildcats have faced thus far, and the defence is bigger, though younger. I believe St-John's young defence and our young groupe of forwards are comparable, with both missing out on a lot of experience (exception made of Grant), so it wouldn't surprise me to see a game with a lot of errand passes, like the 1st period of the season opener.
Good game everyone!

I have to say that I am very impressed with Cameron's play thus far. He's a 17 year old, undrafted at 16 and we got him in the 3rd round. Considering those facts, he's playing just plain great. He's out on the ice doing everything, 5vs5, power play, penalty kill. He hits, backchecks and works hard.
A real good kid we've got here. I'm really glad that he's on the team.

I agree with you there, and I'd like to add.. He works great playing with Samson on the first line, I hope they leave it that way for the first half or the whole year if Samson stays.

WOW WOW WOW Brad Smith can fight. Fought with Alex Grant. Give the decision to Smith for busting open Grant. Other than that it was even. Lots of bombs connected though. Awesome fight. Good to see some toughness.

Sea Dogs win? I know we are not expecting alot of wins, but lets be serious. Wildcats should win this one. 2-3 goal margin.

I'm hearing the words "Riopel leaves a rebound" far too much, but that will come with experience I'm sure.
The defense seems to be caught flat footed too often also.
