Alright...So, I'm guessing all of you have been waiting for me to reply to this thread. Well, here it goes. Today's scheduled press conference was a 'closed door-media only' press conference. I checked the "Expected Persons" count and it was only 30. Which would be why it was held in the Shediac room. The larger "Public Invited" press conferences are held in the Ballroom, such as the press conference to announce that Moncton was the host city for the 2006 Memorial Cup back one year ago.
I apologize for any excitement or anxiousness I placed in people's bodies the last 24 hours. If I hear of any larger "Expected Persons" press conferences having to do with the team, I will gladly post it. Again, sorry for the inconvinience! Have a great evening!

A month later he found out he had chlamydia and herpes.

I think I'll start going to Velvet and pick myself up some COUGARS!!!! ;D

What was the closed door press conference announcing? The door was closed. Should've tried holding a glass to the door and listening through it... works in the movies.

Article mentionning Torchetti on the verge of signing with Moncton : www.pjstar.com/stories/071906/DAV_BAE30NPJ.077.shtml*blah blah blah* <snip> Ex-NHL head coach John Torchetti is due in St. Louis today, but it also was believed he was on the verge Tuesday of signing to coach Moncton's Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team. </snip> *blah blah blah*

Look for the press conference to be held later in the week. Torchetti isn't flying in until then. Not sure if it is Thursday or Friday. Cheaper flights on those days? After the extent that MR. IRVING went to last year to fall one game short of his goal , maybe he is being a little tighter with the purse strings this year. Or maybe after the prospective coaches see the roster that Nolan has saddled with they have second thoughts

Can't be that, its gotta be something bad against Moncton.

Actually, according to the papers it is Irving himself that has been away on business. He is coming back tomorrow (Friday). I would highly doubt there would be such an announcement without Irving being there.

According to the T&T the announcement will be made at a press conference tomorrow announcing Torchetti is the new coach. Great move by the Cats.
