Quebec vs Peterborough, Go Petes Go., I hope all Wildcats fans feel the same and will cheer loudly for the Petes in this game and any other team playing against Quebec. I would love to see the Remparts go 0 and 3 in the Mem cup and be sent home early.

Why wouldn't you cheer for the Q team in the tourney?
What did those kids do. They played a tough final series, shook hands like gentlemen after the final buzzer.
Yep they were cocky when they came in here and smoked us...guess what so was the Wildcats org with all their marketing based on teh CHL top ten rankings.

I would love to see the Remparts go 0 and 3 in the Mem cup and be sent home early. I personally would enjoy seeing two teams from the East meet for the final. We always hear that the OHL and WHL are better than us, better players, more players on National teams, etc... I say that's being bashed year after year and why should we not have the two best teams in Canada here from the Q. We had our hands full with the Remparts, if they do the same with the other teams and we do what should be done then we will meet again. Let's show the Upper Canadians that the Q has grown up with Moncton and the Remparts. They won't look at us in the same way in the future. Let's be proud of our league. The Quebec players showed a lot of class last night, and its these guys that will be on the ice against Vancouver and Peterborough. Then it's back to the CATS and we will eat them RAW yes RAW. GO CATS GO

GO CATS GO I agree, but there is just NO WAY I can cheer for Quebec. Truth, when the Cats aren't playing, I'll be just watching some awesome hockey. I'll save most of my cheering for the Cats!! ;D

Nothing against the Quebec players as I was impressed with their showing following their loss, but because of their coach...Go Petes Go!

Using the logic of some of the folks on this board the proper thing for Edmonton fans to do at the next game is to boo the American national anthem. That logic is how they must arrive at deciding to cheer against the Remparts when they play the OHL or WHL. The fans in San Jose were classless and Patrick Roy is a classless asshole but his players showed class and so will I. The Wildcats are a class organization and they play in the QMJHL; when Quebec is playing anyone but the Cats I will cheer for them (maybe not loudly) and I will also join in the Patrick chants if anyone starts them up. The Q is our league and we should support it. Just my two cents.

I personally can't stand Quebec purely from a competitive point of view. Yes Patrick Roy is arrogant and I would like nothing more than to stick it to them and we did, nothing they can do can erase the fact that we beat them when it counted. That being said the other leagues look down on the Q, they're bigger, meaner, rougher than our delicate league of offensively minded players. As much as I can't stand Quebec I want to stick it to the other leagues more, so as much as it pains me I have to put our league first and cheer for Quebec when it is in our best interest. We've beat them, nothing they do from here on in can take that away but it's time to stick it to someone else... unless we meet them again in the finals then all bets are off.

Personally my feelings towards Quebec changed when I saw the extreme class they showed after the lose. I can ignore Patrick. As part of the Fan Bus that went to Quebec, I was well treated by the Quebec Fans and although they had their nut cases, most were very very nice. If we don't win then I will cheer for them.

I found the Petes to be a cocky team,i didn't really like them with the likes of Downie,Reddox etc....but then again teams from OHL have usually been like that.I remember when the cup was in Hfx Barrie forward mike jefferson(i think) said while watching Hfx practising that he would like to "spear that Abid guy in the face".....hfx played them in opener and won while Abid went on to score a hat trick

Talk about mixed emotions- do I cheer for Remparts or against Quebec League. I must say that the Remparts players stayed on the ice for a considerably long time waiting for our Cats to stop celebrating and finally line up for the handshake. This was class, and even though I feel Roy was classless, I must cheer for the Rempart players and the Quebec League.

I'll be cheering for Quebec but not loudly...I'll cheer any nice goal or save from other teanms though.

Extreme class ? Thats a little overboard I think ... the Remps shook hands after the game ... just like every team in every series played this year in the Q playoffs ... and last years playoffs ... and the year before. That is just typical of what teams do after a hard fought series ... its simply good sportsmanship ... the way all our mothers and fathers taught us to do it. There is nothing extreme about it ... it is expected.
