The Wildcats were at different Tim Hortons around town this evening and I was just at the Hildegard one where Yandle was supposed to be between 6 and 7. I got there around 6:30 and one of the girls told me that I just missed him. He had to catch a flight back home due to a family emergency. They weren't sure if he was going to be back for tomorrows game. Hopefully, he is back for Sunday though. We can't afford for him to miss any games.

I remember the video cast saying that he sent his best wishes to home and that he was thinking about his grandmother Nana? I may have the details wrong here but there was something said.

We will certainly miss him if he's not back, which I doubt he will be if his grandmother has passed away. That's a big hole to fill. Our thoughts are with you Keith, if that is the case.

well no news today on him. So i would guess hodge would had reported something if it was true. Beside, he wouldnt have gone to the tim horton if someone had died. Unless, he learned it at 6:30 PM. Hopefully yandle and Dupuis are there tonight.

He might have needed a double double fix before boarding a plane?

Andrew Macdonald told me that a couple guys are sick and Yandle had to go home to attend a funeral.

There was nothing in the paper this morning, maybe he's flying back this afternoon on Air Irving. ;D

My bet would be Air Irving. Robert takes very good care of his players, plus it is a very important game, so i'm sure it would have been an option. But if his grandmorther passed away, i'm sure Yandels spirts are low as they should be, so it will be hard to get up for the game. All the best to him if this is the case.

Andrew Macdonald told me that a couple guys are sick and Yandle had to go home to attend a funeral. Is it just me or have "a couple guys" been sick for the entire playoffs?

Maybe the bird flu?
Also, a couple of guys can be sick for the entire playoffs. If 2 guys are sick for 3 days and then they get healthy then 2 more guys get sick for 3 days etc... then yes, a couple of guys appear to be sick for the entire playoffs.
