They've done it before, so I imagine they would cheer for the Wildcats again.

I would not mind playing the Pics on the contrary in the final...that way we would win the Cup Playing Moncton is a riskier venture.

That's pretty confident talk... saying that the Titan would win the Presidents Cup if Gatineau upsets Moncton and they make it... If Gatineau pulls one out over Moncton... after beating Chicoutimi already... I would think they'll be on top of the world and hard to stop by that point... I don't think the Titan would roll over them by any means!!

Most teams that upset somebody as Gatineau did Chicoutimi, don't do it twice........if they upset Moncton, I would think the chances of doing it against 3 teams would be very slim...............also Bathurst would be coming off a huge hard working win over Quebec, which would have them pumped as well.......

If Gatineau beats Moncton them Moncton should not be allowed to play in the Memorial Cup.
The difference in talent between the 2 teams is large, very large.
From the one game I saw, Moncton isn't playing full speed. Every now and then they give a spurt of energy and take over the game. But they seem content to conserve their energy.

So you're really saying that Moncton isn't only pretty but smart too.

Gatineau is not much better than Halifax...they just have a better goalie and play more "in your face", Halifax has a better 1st line. The only way this lasts more than 5 games is if the Cats slack off. Saturday they played at about 60% and still won.

Gatineau is the best team we have faced yet, and it could still be a long series, but I wouldn't be that surprised if we sweep them... they are good enough that we can't take them for granted, but not good enough to beat us when we keep our intensity up. The close game in game 2 may actually be a hidden bonus - we got our scare without losing a game... now rather than heading into game 3 overconfident, the boys should still be hungry to prove themselves and show that they can win in the Bob....

The Cats kind of took them for granted Saturday...at least for part of the game... I'd like to see the forechecking they showed during the season...too much trapping the last few games. With the new rules, the trap is a sure way to give up goals or PP's.
