AND I didn't notice him cough up the puck once. He may have... but I don't remember it. . I remember one.........He was on the boards about the level of the faceoff circle........tried to pass across to the other point, and put it right on the stick of a newfy player..........he was caught back and it ended up in a 2 on 1..........I think it was Belanger that made a big play at the other end to break up the play. Belanger wasn't playing. Bourdon's partner is A. MacDonald (Welton on the pp) so it must have been one of them.

I had the pleasure of watching Bowmeister play as a Junior out west. Bourdon reminds me a lot of him especially in the way he handles the game. You are are blowing teams out and why do something stupid when you do not have to. Bourdon is on cruise control and when the big games come he will step it up. I can remember Bowmeister doing nothing for two periods and if the team needed him he dominated third periods. Like Bowmeister, Bourdon is a shoe in for the big show and when you are romping a team 10 - 0 he is not going to be throwing his body around. He is a class act and I think he is going far in this game. He is one smart kid on the blue line.
