I'm going to the game in Saint John on the 12th. Does anyone know if they allow horns and bells. It seems to me that I recall a conversation about this subject awhile back.

Check the Saint John's board, you'll find plenty of reading material there about the subject.
Just the menu above under Web Boards to find the link.

Last I heard over there they will try to take them from you but if you say no they leave you alone. What is the point in going if you can't make noise. I am vocal enough so I don't need a horn but if I wanted to bring one to an away game I cannot understand why they would not let you. If that is the case why not play the games in the library. shhhhhhhh.

Apparently horns are outlawed. I have had my bell there twice and there was no problems.

Thats what some Sea Dogs were saying was that home fans weren't allowed and were bugged to put them away but road team fans had no issues? Whatever bring it and make lots of noise. I will be there.

This is what was on the Sea Dogs web site.
"Lord Stanley it is that bad. Paying fans are told and asked to take their horns out of Harbour Station, but fans coming from the away teams are allowed to come into the Station with their horns and blow them all they want. These fans keep the staff at Harbour Station as well as the Seadog staff from collecting UI, and they need to know that.
They also rig prizes and promotional items so that the people who come once and again to a game get all the benefits, but the season ticketer that paid up front for their tickets get absolutely nothing.
By the way Lord Stanley, on the sign at Harbour Station that mentions horns, is under weapons. I think that it is hillarious!! "

I took a trip over and they leave the away fans alone. Don't be surprised if everyone looks at you funny when you blow the horn.

I took my horn there one of my three trips there this year (including the exhibition game). I used it and didn't have any problem, however, I didn't get to use it much either. The last time I was there, I didn't bother, given the hassle that Make had last time with his. I don't think I'll bother bringing it next time either....not worth the hassle. We'll have to use the good old fashioned lungs to make noise.

Didn't take 2 seconds for Mac's horn(Make was carrying it) to get taken away when we walked in there. They weren't too friendly about it at first either.
