How many season ticket holder are there on this site that have seat and bought them for the mem cup. I was talking with a friend of mine at the 4 plex tonight and he had some very interesting but disturing comment. He is a seat holder in section 6 and he been told by the wildcat that his seat is not guaranteed for the mem cup. Has anyone heard anything like this. I'm a flex pack holder of 3 and they told me that they will pick my tickets. The Majority of tickets sold are in the lower bowl. Now with the CHL they have to give 1800 and any left over come to us. Nowyou have Sponcers. To me I don't think they would give them all upper bowl seat. So that means someone is going to suffer and that mean losing their seat they bought for the season and for the memorial cup. If this is the cast they should have told everyone that their seat will not be guaranteed. Has anyone out their heard of anything?

Nope, we sit in sect. 23 and were told that we were going to have those seats. I will be very upset if that doesn't happen.

This was explained a few times. If you had season tickets prior to this year, you are guaranteed YOUR seat. If this is the first year you have season tickets or if you have a flex pack, you are guaranteed A seat, not necessarily yours.

However, if you had flex packs prior to this year, you got to choose your seats from those that were not season tickets last year. I've had two flex packs for several years, and got to select my Mem Cup seats back in July. It's only new (this year) flex pack holders who will have seats assigned to them, and I understand it's because a certain number of the CHL tickets have to be "good" seats (ie. we can't put all the visitors in the top of the upper bowl).

If this is the first year you have season tickets or if you have a flex pack, you are guaranteed A seat, not necessarily yours. Now that is soemthing I just dont understand. I fully understand the comment that you will be guaranteed your seat if you had it for more than one season, but what i dont gather is that Lets say there is 2000 CHL people coming and they choose section 12,13 to take over, cause we know they wont scatter them all across the rink just to accomodate season ticket holders and we know they wont be stuck in upper bowl. So if they guarantee 11 season ticket holders with seats in Section 12 cause they've been there for 6 years then they lose that whole section for the sponsors or do they move the season ticket holders? The sponsors will be front and center, guaranteed they wont be stuck on ends or upper bowl so what im gathering is section 1 and 24 or something to that effect is theirs, middle area But then according to you Catnut, they've guaranteed long term season ticket holders their seat, but what if the CHL sit in those sections? Are they gonna leave one seat free for season ticket holder and fill sponsors around them?? Or do sponsors find another section to gather in that doesnt have season ticket hoders (good luck). I just dont understnad. Plus I wish they would list the seats that will be taken by CHL some time soon I mean it is February now (almost) and time is only flying faster It'd be nice to know if you wouldn't be in your seat come memorial cup time.

tal I been a flex pack holder with 3 flex packs for 5 years and they told me they will choose my ticket. Sounds like they are making rules up as they go . You got to choose your tickets and I get my picked for me which really does sucks.

I just don't think anyone is guarantee anything unless they have it in writing. Or until you see your ticket . I'm just saying there going to be a lot of pissed off people when this is all done because the wildcat office has not been playing a level playing field here as far as i see.

The 2,000 CHL seats will not be all in one block. They will likely be grouped in packs of 10-20 for each element that is entitled to tickets (sponsors, other teams, CHL management, etc.). They will check where the seats are available and put them where they deem appropriate. There were only about 2,000 season tickets last year. That leaves about 4,500 seats to squeeze the 2,000 CHL seats they need.

There were only 2100 season tickets last year ... some of them were flex passes ... so probably less than 2000 seats are guaranteed for their current owners. That leaves in excess of 4500 seats to divide up between new season ticket holders and CHL seats.

I got my statement that lists my seat on it. Did you reserve/pay your ticket before July 31? There was a mention in the letter that if you didn't you might lose your seat.

I was a flex pass holder for the past few seasons. This year was my first as an actual season ticket holder. My Memorial Cup invoice has my current seat numbers listed on them, with each seat as a separate item and cosy ($335 plus tax). I also reserved my tickets prior to July 31st.

Halifax had a spike in Season Ticket sales then just like Moncton is this year. The CHL did not say give us all of section x,y,z, they just require x number of seats, these seats must be top grade so yes people in the lower bowl will be moved. I expect that there will be bitching in Moncton as their was in Halifax when season ticket and flex ticket holders are moved to the upper bowl. It's a fact of life today, officials, fans of the visiting clubs and tournament sponsers will be given preference over some wildcat season ticket holders. Just be glad you got to see it in person and remember, Moncton is only the host city, they do not control this tournament, The CHL does.

I was talking to a girl at the Wildcats office on Main St. and she had said that the CHL is picking seats basically along the penalty box side and upper bowl. I asked her about my seats and she said section 19 is pretty safe. She said my seats were going to be fine. But I was also told at the begining when I got my seasons tickets that my seats were not necessarily guaranteed. I would have two seats but maybe not where I am at now.
