Wildcats goaltender Guillaume Blouin has been reassigned to the Quebec junior AAA ranks. Source T&T ;D

This is the best scenario for Blouin. He will get tons of playing time to improve his positional play. Most games i have watched him his positional play is anything but desirable ie too deep in net, doesn't cover angles well and confidence shattered too easily. Hopefully he can work on this and will be back next year and have an excellent year for us. Now, on the other hand we have Sjnderman who i am glad we kept. Far superior to Blouin for goalie positioning and with some more games under his belt to get familiar to the league he will be more than suitable back up to Tjordman. Anyways wil have to wait and see but this is all my opinion. ;D

Sniderman left his other team because he was only back-up.

Sniderman left his other team because he was only back-up. He gets to go to the Mem Cup ... and he'll be the starter next year ... so he is probably much happier to be the backup here.

Does he stay next year?

It would be logical to give him the first crack at #1 with Riopel breaking in.

He deserves his fair shot, in all the games I've seen him in he's impressed me, considering what it cost us to get him here.....

Its obvious you guys think a lot more of sniderman than I do. Blouin was week from what most of us saw this year. Sniderman looked good in the limited action we saw him in this year, definitely better than Blouin, who had plenty of chances to earn his spot.

Next game watch Sniderman "try" to catch a puck.

I agree his glove hand is not the best, but positionally he is much better than Blouin. He blocks his angles better. He seems more confident in the nets also.

I think this was a good chocie keeping Sniderman, Blouin was very shaky in most of his starts this year, and Sniderman will be able to play the role of backup better then Blouin could.

Blouin looked pretty solid at the start of the year, IMO. It seemed after the "Lewiston debacle" that he lost his confidence.
Hopefully he can get some of that back in the minors, and have a chance to compete for a spot on the team next year.
