Well, that story about Churchill originated from the mouth of Ted Nolan.

Read the stats on last nights St John game, looked like on hell of an exciting game. Big SJ come-back in the third and 7 shots apiece in the shoot-out.
Churchill, backing up who? Blanchard? Sniderman?
Maybe Sniderman to SJ? If you were SJ who'd you take?

Plus, Churchill was pulled after the 3rd goal on 7 shots.

Well, that story about Churchill originated from the mouth of Ted Nolan. According to a friend of mine who is in daily contact with the Cats, Nolan keeps his cards really close to himself, much like those Texas Hold 'em players. Even his assistants don't know what trade talks are going down. I doubt he would tell casual fans anything too concrete.

I thought Blanchard played a pretty solid game last night against Val D'Or. Mind you it was a weak team but maybe it was the confindence boost he needed. Made a great save on the breakaway. i'd rather have him as number one than Churchill.

Blanchard has all the skills in my opinion ... he is solid and I'd be happy to go with him as the #1 ... but a veteran backup might be nice.

Blanchard has the potential to be the #1 for the Wildcats. He had a rough first half of the season with all of the injuries and all that but he's better now and ready to play like himself, like he did this weekend.

I can assure all of you that any rumors of possible trades attributed to Ted Nolan are just that rumors.
as well as reports of injuries, time of injured player return etc.
there is obviously an inner circle, of ownership, management, & coaching staff, that are in the know.
the rest of us can speculate, and thats fun too,

I don't think JC can do the job to get the cup. We need a goaltender to steal games for us when the team is strugling. We don't struggle much but every now and then we do *cough cough* cape Breton. So hopefully we will get a new netminder for xmas.
