What a boring game.........Paiement style of a game. Their goalie sure deserved the first star but how long will he keep this pace? Most boring game in the Colliseum so far!

The next game should be more interesting. I expect some payback for Doyle going after Blouin at the end of the game. Kudos to MacDonald for defending his goaltender.
It seems tonight the boys couldn't finish around the net but Ejov really stepped up for the FD's.
The first refused goal was definitely kicked in. I didn't get a good view of the second, was it also kicked in or was it just deflected?

Interesting stat from tonights game, for the Fog Devils, only Firlotte, Bachand and Bernier got penalty's.
IMO, Hebert and the linesmen were horrendous... but they are not the reason we lost. We must have had just as many missed shots as shots on goal tonight!!
Time to regroup for the game against Victo next Friday.

The second goal turned down was kicked towards the front of the net but deflected off Ejov s pads and in the net..........mind you this kisking motion wasn t intentional has the Cats player was moving along toward the front of the net. Good call I m not so sure! "The puck went towards the front of the net only to deflect off the goalies pad"

Speaking of Firlotte, someone from his family (who was sitting close to where I was) won the 50-50 today.

I was going to say that the game I watched on TV, the Cats won lol. Did anyone catch McDonald (#4) spear on the Fog Devil in the nuts at the end of the game in front of the Cats net?

Was that on Doyle? That could explain the punch to Blouin's head.

What a boring game.........Paiement style of a game. Their goalie sure deserved the first star but how long will he keep this pace? Most boring game in the Colliseum so far! Their game plan worked to perfection for well over two periods. Dump the puck, hope for defensive luck, and wait for a break. They didn't have much in the way of offensive threats (except our usual panicky last minute), but were always one goal away from winning or evening the game up. With that crew, I don't see another feasible option.

Doyle was a lamb most of the night then tries to go with MacDonald after the game is over...Doyle did not go after Blouin, Blouin shoved Doyle while he was mixed up with macDonald.

Bottom line: a) the Cats tried to get too fancy far too many times (especially on the PP) b) When they weren't getting too fancy, they were playing down to the level of their opponant and c) Paiement developed a game plan that had the Fog Devils clog up the shooting lanes and keep the Cats on the perimeter... and they stuck with it... and it ALMOST worked. If there was someone on the Fog Devils with a bit more finish (Bergfors?), they win this game.
