Seadogs signed 16 year old enforcer Brett Gallant from the Summerside Western Capitals of the MJAHL. In 9 games so for this season he has over 140 PIMS and has 2 assits. He will arrive in Saint John Wednesday. He's averaging 2 fights a game and hasn't lost one yet. He's the younger brother of gallant off the Screamming Eagles.

I don't think you can sign 16 yr olds that were not drafted ... and they have to be drafted in the first 5 rounds ... signing him as an FA would be like drafting him in Round 15. Perhaps he has a late birthday and has not yet turned 17 ... but he would still be considered a 17 yr old in the Q for the whole season.

According to the Q rules he is a 17 year old, I'm pretty sur they talked about that on the MJAHL board when I read it, he must have a late B-day coming up before the end of the year

This kid can fight, he comes from a family of Boxers from PEI, give him a year to add muscle to that frame and he'll be a force to be reckoned with, but I bet he does well to start with right off the bat, the match I wanna see!!
Morehouse vs. Gallant!!!
