It will surely give everybody a better measuring stick of both contenders this year... I don't expect Bouthillette or Roy back though as IMO Roy should have a fair chance of participating in the Rangers main camp... Same mistake over and over and over and over again. The first game of the season is the worst measuring stick possible. Yes ... the year we went to the final we lost the first game of the year to the Titan ... 7-1 ... the Titan then went on to miss the playoffs. That game was a great measuring stick ...

Truly astounding how one person can continually fail to learn from the same experience. Edit: Another Titan experience. 2nd year in the league we hosted Hull in the opening game of the season and beat them. End of the year, Titan took the last playoff spot available on the last day of the season because Chi lost their game and Hull ended up in the President's Cup. It's not like there aren't any examples close to home for him to learn from.

Bernier,Saunders and Crawford were missing and they ended up with Awalt and Brulotte as goaltenders who could not stop beach balls... That was a poor example... We are talking here about a full or close to full Moncton lineup agsainst the same or close for the Titans. This is why it will be more indicative...

It still shouldn't lead to any conclusions if either team blows out the other...but you don't seem to realise that...

Give each team about 20 or 25 games ... and then start measuring ... and then do it again about 10 games after the trade deadline.

Don t make much sense with these players back and they haven t played together for a long while! Can t use that for measuring shtick!
