I have an idea, how about teams get fined when there isn't five fights per pre-season game?

Taylor Moore would have come in handy tonight after the first fight. Can't play hockey well but used at the right time he would be effective.

I didn't think we showed any life out there tonight till Nolan sent Spencer out to find trouble after a few St John goals. I wonder if Bergeron had of dressed, we would have seen Moore in the line-up, not to fight Bergeron exactly, but just to even things up.

If Bergeron was in the line up, I would have expected to see Moore in there too. Like you said...."Just to even things up".

I've had bronchitis before, and I don't remember it affecting my knuckles. Must be a new strain of the virus.

So who's getting the tap on the shoulder when Cormier comes to town?

I've seen him give out a few beatings in the past, was just wondering how he stood up to Starenky. If he sticks with the team, you guys have a hell of an entertaining player. He never stops jawing and agitating the other team, not even on the bench!

Spencer started well, throwing a bunch, but I couldn't see how many made great contact. Then Starenky caught Spencer right in the kisser with a punch that I think would have sent 99% of the league to the ice. But, Spencer hung on, threw some more, and at the end got Starenky's shirt over his head, but chose not to throw anymore at that point. Spencer looked quite unhappy in the box.

He looked unhappy in the box because starenky smoked him in the head after the linesmen had jumped in and spencer had stopped throwing.

Yeah, that sounds like a typical Spencer fight. He doesn't hug much. www.melfortmustangs.com/video/041119_wasmuth_fight.wmvThere was a good fight he was in, but he took it pretty hard in that one and messed up his hand. But, he came back out about 2 minutes later and jawed with the guy in the box ;D
