. More good news for W/C if it's true...he has looked very solid defensively during camp ...I think he'll be very popular with the fans...talk about depth on defence.

Is that the kid who's father enlightened us on the NCAA eligibility rules on Moosetalk? Nope ... that was Alex MacDonald ... a local boy.

Is that the kid who's father enlightened us on the NCAA eligibility rules on Moosetalk? No, that would be Alex MacDonald's dad from Moncton.

Trust me, I have never been accused of enlightening anyone on any subject.
But to clarify a few comments that were attributed to me in the mjahl forum link above.
The rule that the kid loses only one year of eligibility for NCAA applies only if the kids' high school class has not graduated. So if the kid has graduated and then plays an exhibitition game in the Q, his total eligibility for NCAA is gone. This must have been the choice that Andrew Macdonald made (don't know him) so the offer from the Wildcats must have been outstanding.
Now, this was only my take on it from a few years ago after discussing it with people who should have known about it.
