At first I thought you were trying to slide one past with that "Bemiji State U" reference. Imagine my surprise when I found out that you weren't kidding and it's a real school in Minnesota. I guess they haven't supplied many football players to the NFL or I'd have heard of them.

Sooooo.... what does this actually mean to the WC? I know Strait and Sill never showed here and Keller was let go yesterday, but MacDonald and Marquardt? Marquardt has been outstanding in the scrimmages. I would like to see him stay.

I think Marquart and MacDonald had until noon today to decide QMJHL or NCAA.

With two of us checking on their existence (the same day) their web administrator must think they've hit the big time.

Surprisingly, Bemiji State made it to the National quarter-finals last year behind the goaltending of former Truro Bearcats goalie Matt Climie. So I guess it isn't any coincedence that MacDonald is now going there.

Maybe the better question is "WHY' would you know that?

Maybe the better question is "WHY' would you know that? I knew Climie was playing there (there were a few articles on him in the NS newspapers last year) and I happened to catch the NCAA "Road to the Frozen Four" show on the NHL Network this spring. I think Bemidji lost to Denver.
