Sounds like Drummondville's coach is in denial...said in the paper that Moncton's wins are all luck...wonder what he would be saying if Crawford was his usual self and the series was over in 4 or 5.

Game 6 what will the outcome be? What say ye? Ye olde wise man says the felines of the wilderness of the kingdom of Moncton shall conquer the rival kingdom of Drummondville defended valiantly by the Voltigeur knights. Sir Steve of Bernier shall lead the troops to victory with his fellow knight in shining armour Lord Crawford. The troops will launch a relentless attack against the defences of Drummondville until the end when they shall abdicate and shake hands with their conquerors. The next target for conquest will be either the Dogs of the North from the kingdom of Rouyn-Noranda or the Riverkeepers of the Saguenay.

He said they outplayed us in OT in Game 2 ... they were exhausted and couldn't get the puck out of their own end ... OT was quite one-sided in our favour if I remember correctly. In Game 5 OT was evenly played ... it only lasted 2:00.

I think he's gotta know he was outplayed. It's just a game he's playing with his players heads. They're likely the same lines he used in his local papers. Any moron that's seen at least two hockey games in their life could tell we outplayed them in both OT's. It's an old ploy to get his team pissed and motivated to overcome the odds next game. It also serves to try and mess with our teams heads as well trying to make them think they're lucky and doubt themselves. I can't see it working this time though.

I was at game 1 and 2 and I remember the entire games being in our favor, except for a small lapse in game 2. The play seemed to always be in Drummondville's end. A small lapse in Game 2 ? ... they had 47 shots that game. They had a slight edge in the territorial play in Game 2 ... we certainly didn't outplay them that game. The series has been fairly evenly played in my mind ... in the 3 games here we have not been outplayed and deserved each win ... but Drummondville has not slacked off either. Games 3 and 4 we outshot them both times but the totals were close ... its hard to say who outplayed who without seeing those games ... but we were not dominated by any means. Pelletier has been great for them and hasn't played like a rookie ... without him I think this series would be over. If Crawford was playing as good as him it would be over by now ... and again I'm not blaming Crawford ... he has been good ... just not great.

I found the 40 some shots that game to be just like when we play Halifax though. 40 shots with very few making me nervous. We were dangerous in their end with no finish, and they took many shots from the outside with no real threat. To me we controlled the play in game 1 and 2. If Crawford was his normal self this series would have been over in 5 maybe even 4 games.

IF IF IF.
Come on, this is pathetic. Most of you people are way too hockey savvy to play the if game.
If Crawford were on his game it'd be over in 5.
If half of DRU's posts had went in during the first two games this series wouldn't have come back to Moncton.
You can "if" anything, but its pointless and you all know it so why bother?

4-2 MON You should finish them off. Yeah I think it's over tonight. Those 12 hour bus rides must be beginning to take their toll. THis is the first game in the series where Drummondville wasn't given a one day rest after their trip home.

I have an IF for you...IF I was the coach every player would have a big laminated copy of the Volts coach guaranteeing a win, to remind them of how little respect he has for the Cats.
