Its ironic that guy that runs around in a Leaf's hat ... and with another guy that has a Leaf's adorned wardrobe ... could poke fun at the fans of another team. What has your team done in the last 30 years that makes being a fan of them a smarter venture than being a Habs fan ? Leafs fans are disappointed again and again ... since 1967 ... 37 years and counting ... and I believe that is roughly the combined age of you and your Leaf logo wearing buddy ... so you have been disappointed by the Leafs for your entire life x 2. Last year you traded for some elderly gentlemen and wondered why you got bounced in the second round. Same place Montreal got bounced ... but by the eventual Stanley Cup Champions .... while you guys lost to Bobby Clarke ... BAHAHAHAHAHA. Well sorry to say but I do think that the majority of Habs fans are idiots. When the Habs are losing their fans will pretend that they don't care and that they're not really interested in hockey anymore. Oh but when the Habs start winning all the Montreal apparel comes out of the closet and all of a sudden they're the biggest Habs fan in the world. Just take a look around the Coliseum when the Habs are winning compared to when the Habs are loosing and you'll see a HUGE difference in Montreal paraphenilia being worn. It's pretty sad considering I still wear my Leafs and Penguins hat, yes Penguins hat no matter how bad the team is doing. I pretty much have two fav teams, but when it gets down to the crunch...aka Penguins vs. Leafs games I have to go with my heart, The Penguins. So hey they won in 1991 and 1992 and have had some exciting playoff runs in the past, like 1996 and 2000. Just like exciting Leafs runs in 1993, 1994, 1999, and 2002. I know the Habs won it all in 1993, but pls tell me how many "exciting runs" they've had since then? That would be none unless you consider being swept by Tampa and losing to Carolina in round 2 "exciting". So yes, I'm quite happy hating the Habs...and the Sens too ;D

Yep, they'll finish 29th instead of 30th. Well considering they had a great finish to the last season and have added the Flyers leading scorer in Mark Recchi I don't think they will be 29th or 30th next season. A playoff spot may be tough to get, but ya never know. But looking past next season this is a team on the rise and they will soon be back with the big boys of the NHL.

What's the difference between a plane full of business travellers and a plane full of Montreal Canadiens fans? When the engines on the plane full of business travellers stop so does the whining sound.
In court the other day there was a case regarding the custody of a small child. The judge asked the boy, "do you want to live with your mother?" He replied, "No I don't want to live with her because she beats me!". The judge then asked, "Do you want to live with your father?" The boy stated, "No he beats me too." Finally the judge asked, "where do you want to live?" The child responded, "I want to live with the Montreal Canadiens!". The judge asked, "Why do you want to live with the Montreal Canadiens?" The boy exclaimed, "Because the Montreal Canadiens don't beat anybody!"
Did you guys hear about the 2 new russians Montreal pick up? Summeroff and Teeoff!

ya mac and make i saw some real nice hotties in rimouski......to bad one of them couldn't understand english....lol So, what if they can't speak English? When they're saying your name, it'll sound just that much more great to hear cause of the accent. And the most important thing, they're french.. so obviously, they'll give you some in an instant.

There is no more obnoxious fan than a leafs fan. First of all they have won nothing in 100 years and they will win nothing for the next 100 years. There team is to old to play oldtimers and probably to soft. They constantly trade any young player or draft pick for any 70 year old veteran who may have been a team captain 20 years ago.
They stubbornly hold on to useless overated players like Antropov and Kaberle because they are to stubborn to admit they made a mistake.
The captain is a bland emotionless player who only shows up for big games...in the World Championship.
But I look forward to another year of fantasy and hope for all that cheer for the blue and white.
Canada's team in your dreams.
Yours truly a Montreal Fan...who has seen his team hoist the cup.
