I don't remember a brawl vs Sherbrooke that year...but the encyclopedia doesn't lie I thought we did have a brawl vs Victo that year though(or was it a different year?)I do remembr that it started right in front of the cats bench....seems to me somebody from Victo fighting with a Cats player on the bench off the draw is what started it..... Can anybody clarify which year that was? Paiment sent Dubuc out to fight Robichaud for some reason and Robichaud knew off the faceoff that Dubuc was coming on after him, he had his gloves off right off the draw. There was that one.... but there was also the brawl when someone on Victo took a run of some sort at David Comeau and off the next faceoff a brawl broke out, featuring one of my all time favorites, Jacques Lariviere battling Edin Burazerovic. That would've been arounf Feb, 98... so get that video clip too.

the best hit i had ever seen was the Beauchemin hit on Brad Richards(I think or Lecavalier)...it was in Rimouski. That hit knocked him out of the series for a few games...I remember one of the Oceanic players chased Beauchemin around the entire ice to try to fight....

The Karsums open ice hit on Brule at the mem cup last year was pretty damn huge too.

Victo had a pretty tough team that year Burazerovic,Francois Page,Robichaud,Fred Jobin,J-F Belliveau etc.....then again most teams carried about 3-4 tough guys minimum.....ahhh "the good old days".

What about the karate kid save by Blanchard. That was probably the best save in WC history. Best individual performance might be Riopel on opening night last year.

Riopel that night we certainly "in the zone". I think the Cats showing confidence in him by making him the clear #1 this season will bring more of that out of him.
