Past and this year season ticket holder are garanteed their actual seat! The new season ticket holder of this year are garanteed "A" seat..............info for them will be sent at a later date since the CHL or VIP will pick their seating amongst all those seats who we re not previously(05-06) taken. So the new season ticket holder will get "A" seat for the MC but may not be the one they had during the regular season.......... Dealine for past season ticket holder is the 29th and if I recall rigth a deposit of $100 rqrd........with later paiement sometimeJan/Feb............ That s what I gathered when I was up at the Cats office........ Well I'm a past season ticket holder, only years I didn't have season tickets was the first year and last season. Looks like I'll be going to the Wildcats office tomorrow to straighten this out.

That is insane. $385 for 8, maybe 9 games. The Mem Cup package was $150-175 in Halifax. I'd expect an increase over 6 years, but not over a 100% increase. The leagues are now demanding an increasingly large amount of money from the host cities to be divided amongst the other cities of the league. If I remember correctly, Kelowna raised the bar on that issue 2 years ago by pledging to give back 1 million$ to the Dub. That still seems awfully steep. You're looking at $40-50 per game; probably a $50+ single game ticket. In comparison, the World Junior package in Halifax was $609 for 21 games, or roughly $30 per game.

This will be my first year as a season ticket holder (have shared one in the past) and I spoke to the WC office today. I was told by the person that answered the phone (who it seems failed her customer service training as she was very abrupt) that "we have no idea when we will be sending out MC packages to new subscribers, that's why we haven't sent them out yet."
I don't mind people who have been season tciket holders in the past getting first dibs but I would have expected that the WC would have had their act together on this at least to the point of being able to tell people when they can expect a package.
As for ticket prices, I belive they are a litlle higher than London this year (just under $300, plus taxes I assume) and London has a larger building.

The situation from the way I understood.......once past season ticket holder have confirmed their MC tickets the next step is............MC/CHL VIP who will pick their(2000) seating arrangements only then will the New season ticket holder will be notified..........shouldn t be long after the 29 July deadline for now and past season ticket holders pending how long it will take for the CHL/VIP to do their picking.........

Well I went in to the Wildcats office today and the girl told me it's only season ticket holders from last year who get their seat guaranteed. This is funny because I know someone who didn't have season tickets last year...or any year that I know of and he got the letter and his guaranteed seats. I, on the other hand have had season tickets for 7 of the 9 years the Wildcats have been in town, only the first year and last year I didn't have season tickets. For the record I only missed a handful of games during the first year anyways, only missing because I was playing hockey myself, and last year I was away. So this is my reward for all the years of support...some shit seat for the Memorial Cup While "someone" who's never even had season tickets gets his good seat...no offence to this "someone", I'm not pissed at you as it's hardly your fault. In short my point is, what a bunch of incompetent fools running this organization, they would fuck up a flea circus if they got their hands on one. They really make it hard to cheer for the team sometimes.
